Super helpful host. My parents and I had a fabulous stay. I love the rustic comfort and the artistic design touches of the country cottages. Great surrounding and close to famous vineyard lunches.

There was excellent communication from staff in the lead up to us checking in. On arrival at the cottages we were greeted by super friendly and helpful staff. The cottages are absolutely gorgeous, photos dont do them justice. They have clearly thought of everything for the guests to have a well equipped stay. Will definitely be booking to stay again. The little cottages were wonderful. We loved the rustic and quint feel to them, and the fire place made them so cosy. They were a great size, well presented and had everything you needed in the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable, with a lovely think duvet. If we were being picky we would say the couch needed a bit but TLC but we didn’t care, we still enjoyed our stay.

Excellent communication by staff prior to arrival. Lovely accomodation as always. This was our second time there. Even forgot my Apple Watch there after checkout, was at the beach when I remembered, but staff were soo honest and nice to call and notify me to come pick it up

The place is really beautiful,and peaceful. If you want to take time and detached from everything. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need and the breakfast is nice and full. We loved .the .dizain ,the bed was comfy Be prepared to be all alone becaus everything you need is far from the place.

Everything was so nice to stay. The facilities in the lodge was very interesting and old enough to feel another world. Host was very kind. One more advantage was The Hunting Lodge Winery was 5 minutes on foot. We had dinner on the winery. We wanna stay again in the future.

Wonderful cabin, everything you need was there. A very peaceful stay and perfect for the event at The Hunting Lodge. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend and definitely would stay again! Thanks for the breakfast and early checkin!

Absolutely beautiful venue with all sorts of flora, even a little creek, hydrangeas, elephant ears, just lovely grounds. We had a lunch with wine tasting with our group from Regent Seven Seas. We sampled 5 wines and there was bread, salad, cheeses, hummus, lamb, salmon, potatoes and sweet potatoes, green beans, and pavlova. Just lovely. Ellie has a great personality and lots of knowledge about wine and local history.
