The owner was very kind and even upgraded my room for free. He's a real gentleman.

It was very cold that night when I arrived at the hotel. It’s about 8.30 pm with 3 degrees Celsius in October. The hotel is not too far from Wakayama Sta. I walked only 5-6 minutes. The staff at the counter was very friendly, kind and polite. He helped me to carry my luggage to my room. I book the Ryokan room so it’s so traditional Japanese with Yukata dressing. I love everything here and feel so warm staying at Katsuya Inn. I wish I could come back here again next year in Blossom 🌸 season. Thank you for having me here and the post cards are so wonderful. 🙏🏻😊🥰

The price is reasonable, the staff are friendly, and the entrance is open even in the middle of the night, so you can go for Wakayama ramen whenever you feel like it. However, there are snack bars and girls' bars nearby, so those with weak willpower might want to avoid it. The shared bath is good 👍

It's a little far from Wakayama Station, but not too far to walk. I wasn't expecting much from the facilities, so it wasn't a problem. The staff were very kind.

The room was clean and well-equipped. The receptionist was warm and polite and helped me into the room. The location is not far from Wakayama Jr. The only downside is that there is no elevator, which is not suitable for girls with large luggage.

There is no elevator, so be careful if you have big luggage, you have to carry it up by yourself. Other than that, it's ok. It's not far from Wakayama Station, so it's convenient to fly to Kansai Airport the next day.

The boss is very nice and the sanitary conditions are good. We can book a house at any time when we travel freely. It is conveniently located near the bus terminal.

The hotel is very close to the train station and the bus to Kansai Airport. It takes about 7-8 minutes to walk. The room is not big, but clean and quiet. The boss is very enthusiastic and will patiently help you find the route back. I used My legs were sick, so my boss provided me with a free bicycle, took me to the station in a private car when I left, and helped me buy the tickets. A cost-effective hotel, I will definitely stay here next time

Very Japanese-style room~ I like tatami mats~ It's not far from the subway station and shopping mall~ (there is even an LV)~ It's only a short stroll away~ The surrounding area is very quiet~ It feels like home~ The owner's family is also very welcoming~ And A place to take a bath ~ suitable for a family of three ~ the key point is very suitable for Wakayama Castle ~ it takes only 15 minutes to take the bus ~ it is really comfortable

It's convenient because it's close to the station and downtown. The receptionist was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. However, there is no bath in the room. There is a small shared bath outside the room, but it is only open until 11pm, so if you come back late you can't even take a shower. I think it's good for a stay without meals.
