The quality & condition are about what you'd expect in this part of the country. We were extremely disapointed that the pool was 'closed for maintenance' and had no warning that this amenity was not avaiable until we walked to the pool as a family with our swim gear & a hotel worker stopped us to inform us that it was 'closed for maintenance'.

Run away from this hotel as fast as you can!!! Management will provide untrue information to your credit card company! The room and hotel were filthy...moldy carpet-bad odor-non functioning ac-dirty sheets & bedding and crunchy unwashed towels- fluid of unknown origin left to dry hard on headboard...No water pressure and broken windows/screens. The ice machine was broken on our floor so we had to go to the 1st floor. When the motion-light came on, a mouse ran from the room across the hall and under another door. ALSO___CHECK YOUR ROOM BEFORE YOU SIGN FOR YOUR ROOM KEYS...management will say you did this and therefore agreed to pay your credit card bill -this could not be further from the truth. They will repeatedly bill your credit card even if you left the location within a half hour of "checkin" due to the unsafe and filthy conditions. How this still bears a Comfort Inn name I have no idea. WORST hotel I've ever experienced. WORST management I've ever encountered.

The card keys for the door struggled upon first use and three had to be re-keyed by morning. This happens every time and the keys were not confused between the three rooms. The blow dryer did not work in room 202. Without checking, the desk clerk did not grant even one room for a late check out.

Check-in was easy. Room was dated but ok. Breakfast was sad. Coffee old. No pancake batter and when I told the front deck. Response was to check level. There was little left and he told me to use the flavored one. No eggs left. Coffee was old and thick. Sad. No customer service.

Poo stain on the outside of the toilet, stains on the carpet, no ice in any of the ice machines. Breakfast was lacking, no waffle mix. Water dispenser was empty. Staff unfriendl. Pool to cold to swim in.

The property was only fair, usually there is a table in the lobby with water etc for travelers- empty; Walcott was in the midst of 100 temperatures, and there was NO ice in any of the machines, we checked all 3 floors! Had to go to Iowa 80 to get ice for our tumblers. Also the soda machines near the ice machines were empty, no bottled water offered at breakfast and whatever breakfast food was there seemed sparse and unappealing. We ate breakfast elsewhere....the main complaint was the fact that there was NO ICE!

Everything was good except the breakfast. They had eggs and sausage. But it was cold and I question possibly from the day before
