Generally fine - decent value. Rooms were clean, bathrooms simple. A little tired. Restaurant was much better than it initially looked, although portions were a bit on the small side.

Wir haben eine Freundin in Trier zum 70sten Geburtstag überrascht und waren eine Nacht in der nur 10 km entfernten Albachmühle zum übernachten. Preisleistungs incl. Frühstück tiptop. 1 kleines EZ und ein DZ hatten wir. Auch ideal für Radfahrer die diese Moselregion erkunden wollen. Das hier in den Rezensionen beschriebene Problem mit dem Aufzug ist meines Erachtens nutzerbezogen, als alter Aufzugbauer traue ich mir dieses Urteil zu. Da keine Kabinenabschlusstür vorhanden ist, gibt es gesetzeskonform eine digitale Sicherheitseinrichtung (Volksmund: Lichtschranke), dass sich während der Fahrt niemand verletzt, die muss frei sein und der Taster des Zielstockwerks muss länger gedrückt werden. Für ein Waldhotel, wo ständig Wandersleute mit ihren Feld- Wald- und Wiesenstiefeln ein und ausgehen, fanden wir es recht sauber. Alles tiptop, danke, jederzeit gern wieder dorthin!
