Stay in this hotel last minute as my flight was cancelled. They don’t have toothbrushes and the supermarket nearby closes at 9 pm. The room is good, not much food option nearby

Stayed a deluxe studio, with 2 separate sleeping areas/rooms. Spacious lounge dining & kitchen. Lovely views of Adelaide hills. Good sized kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher. Plenty of bench space but couple of cupboards were glued or locked so dry food needed to be stored above head height-a nuisance. Kitchen utensils poorly stocked, stolen or broken items not replaced but housekeeping was very responsive to provide when asked. Clean & very comfortable beds. Pool & gym area v good. Extra pool towels. Great location- 2min walk to Woolworths & eateries. Cafe & hairdressers downstairs. It’s a cafe specialising in desserts Wed- weekend- packed very popular. Walkerville is a leafy & lovely inner suburb with nice sandstone cottages. Will stay again!

didn't get the bed configuration that we initially requested but staff soon found us another room. although this room had no balcony or windows that we could open for fresh air. No washing machine but staff were kind enough to allow us twice to access a room to use their washing machine facilities. When we asked for extra supplies these were provided promptly, clothes horse, fresh towels and toilet paper. Had to drive most places but woolworths super convienent.

Swimming pool was amazing. Bedroom curtains would have helped make the room darker for sleeping.

No opening window in the room we had - felt like you were in a closet. Room was ok. Have stayed here before a few years ago and definitely not as good this time.

The people working here could not be faulted - very friendly and welcoming. The place itself also presented well, with the room clean although in some areas a little worn. So, location - not bad. Outside the CBD, but frankly we are talking Adelaide so it's not that far out. It is basically an apartment block - no restaurant associated with it, so do not expect to be able to get dinner or room service, or for that matter a 'welcome drink' glass of wine if you are an Accor member. I did get some chocolate and two bottles of water, as well as a handwritten welcome note, so that was nice. On check in they did say that they normally do not service the rooms every day, but could arrange to do so if I wanted - and as I was staying for only three nights I said not to bother. Wifi - works, but not super fast (under 2Mbps down, 0.04 Mbps up). Maybe it was having a seniors moment whilst I was there, but be aware you may end up needing to use your mobile data for anything more than basic email. I had a room on the fifth floor - nice and large with two separate bedrooms either side of a lounge area, as well as a long balcony with some chairs and a table. As you walked into the room, the lounge was directly in front and to the left was the kitchen and to the right the combined laundry & bathroom. For a home away from home, this worked well. You can walk out the back and you are behind a Woolworths that is inside a small shopping area. There are a number of other shops in the centre from a cafe to BWS to a chemist - I wandered down and got some supplies from Woolworths to cover my dinner/breakfasts for the three nights I was staying. Outside the centre there was a restaurant or two and if feeling active, a McDonalds and other take away options about a 10 minute walk away. The kitchen had a full size fridge. It was clean and worked well, but there were some cracks on the inside. There was a bracket stuck to the outside of both the freezer and fridge compartment doors where no doubt they used to be connected to the external wooden door panel - but it would have been a little weird as the single wooden door would have meant when you opened the wooden door, both the freezer and fridge doors would open. Maybe that's why they separated them, or maybe it came from a different apartment. Anyhow, it meant that to access the fridge or freezer you need to open the large wooden door and then reach in the crack between the wall and the side of the fridge to grab the door and pull. Inside the fridge was a collection of those single shot UHT milk containers you could use when making tea or coffee, and speaking of which there was a nespresso pod machine with four unmarked pods (two gold, two brown - maybe decaf and normal? No idea.). The kitchen had a small induction top, oven & microwave oven, and dishwasher. The stove top did not work initially, until I found the separate power switch on the wall that turned it on. There was an ok collection of cooking implements, from

I wanted a hotel to enjoy some comfort in after being at Womadelaide during the day and evening. This was not the hotel for that. We upgraded to a studio appartment but it was small and not luxe in any way. The facilities if you wanted a self contained kitchen area and laundry were good but I expected or hoped for a greater degree of comfort and space and that was not there.
