This is a easy review very clean tidy Warm welcome on arrival. Dave was very helpful with local amenities and made every effort for a comfortable stay. Nice breakfast cooked fresh We have booked again for next week Highly recommended

Our first visit to the area. The hosts were amazing, both, Dave & his mum (sorry, I didnt catch your name), were the perfect hosts, both letting us know the information we needed for our stay as well as answering our questions about the local area & tips about transport to Liverpool & Chester. A great selection for breakfast. We both chose the small breakfast (we wouldn't usually eat a cooked breakfast in a morning, so a small was more than enough to set us up for the day) which was all cooked fresh & was very tasty. The room (107) was a good size with everything that we needed. It was clean, tidy & very comfortable, just what we needed after a long day of exploring the area. Only a short walk down to the dock to get the ferry, so perfect if you want to explore Liverpool & surrounding areas without staying in the city itself. Ask the hosts about the Metro cards if you'd like a cheaper option to get around. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Simple accommodation, clean, comfortable, good value family business. Handy to Liverpool and good waterfront views.

What a great experience I had at this hotel.I stay a lot in branded hotels but I booked Liver view hotel as I needed to be walking distance to an appoin**ent I had. When I arrived I was greeted by Dave who checked me in and then personally showed me around the hotel and to the room I was staying in. This guy was one of the friendliest person I've ever met at any hotel. The room was spot on and easily up there with one of the comfiest beds I've stayed in. Shower spot on. The next morning I had to rush for an appoin**ent and didn't have time to have breakfast,yet again Dave was there asking if I was ok for anything and even said he would make me something to take away. Honestly this is how a hotel should be run. Next time I'm in Liverpool I'll be ditching my usual branded hotel and staying here. 5 star service

Wonderful stay. Will definitely return next time in Liverpool. Great location. Right next to Ferry ⛴️ (an experience in itself given the lovely view). Good breakfast. On arrival we were greeted warmly by the very friendly Dave. He gave us a tour of the facilities and took us to our room. Our room had a lovely view of the Liverpool skyline, especially at night. There was a selection of breakfast options each morning and they were happy to make adjus**ents to suit all guests. Each time you came in or went to breakfast we received a warm welcome. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend a visit.

What a wonderful stay for our belated Valentines weekend. We loved the location, across the Mersey from the hustle and bustle of Liverpool city centre. Dave was a dream landlord and looked after us really well. The breakfast was fabulous, a great way to start the day. Our room looked out over the river towards Liverpool and we could see the Mersey Ferries arriving. A perfect Merseyside weekend!

The Liver hotel is a family run business. It is situated the other side of the river Mersey! I happened to come across this hotel searching for a place to stay whilst visiting Liverpool for a couple of days. Which I am so pleased I did . This time of year especially with the Chris**as Season when I priced up to stay in the centre it was over £550 !! So I did my research and came across this lovely place. The Liver Hotel is situated in the area of Wirral 10 to 15 minutes taxi ride to the centre of Liverpool. What makes this perfect is you can get a metro card which you top up for £5 a day this allows you to use the ferry, the train and the bus service as many times you want in that day. We opted to take the ferry over which if we took the commuter ferry only takes 10 minutes but we decided to take the guided tour which took 30 minutes but was very factual and told you lots of information about different areas of Liverpool as you passed them. I would highly recommend this as it cost £11pp weekdays and £22pp on weekdays but is you have a metro card you only pay £5! The hotel has 19 rooms some of which have stunning views over the River Mersey. They also offer a full cooked English breakfast and if you want anything in particular they are happy to accommodate. The hotel also has on site secure parking which is great considering the price you pay in the centre. I would highly recommend this hotel the staff are amazing very friendly

We stayed for two nights in February, a Fantastic hotel, clean room and great breakfast and location, free parking and such a friendly host. I wouldn't let the outside put you off at all. 3 minute walk to the ferry over into Liverpool city centre. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
