Absolutely 💯 outstanding clean tidy cosy everything you need for a perfect weekend location excellent.stayed there for the Merseyside Derby and transport links to get to the city was near enough at the front door looking forward to staying again

Dunsandles is situated in a prime location in New Brighton, 5 to 10 minutes from all the sights and facilities - cafes, restaurants, supermarket, promenade (the best in the UK with views across the river of the Liverpool historic buildings), Floral Pavilion and Fort Perch Rock. Loads of free car parking nearby, and easy access to public transport - bus and trains. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a view over the river. We were staying to attend a family party in the adjoining restaurant Bistro 115 - food was fantastic and staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient.

Absolutely lovely room and very comfortable bed. The rates are not the cheapest and don't include breakfast but I can't fault my room in any way. It's also well-located, not right on the seafront, so quiet, but very close.

This trip to New Brighton was a wonderful discovery for me and my friend Andy. I hadn't been to New Brighton for almost 30 years and was amazed to discover that it had been transformed, during this absence, from "death of empire" to a thriving symbol of urban regeneration. Dunsandles was also a wonderful surprise. Alan and Helen are very friendly and provided us with help, support, and entertainment! We will be visting them again and cannot praise them enough. Fabulous!

I am not one who usually stays at B&Bs as I much prefer hotels; and I find that staying at B&Bs can feel a bit like staying in someone's spare bedroom. But not this place! But local hotels were booked up and I went for this place instead. I was not disappointed. I was very happy with my room - large and spacy with lots of light. Old antique style furniture that actually suited the room. All the in-room facilties you need including iron and ironing board, and an impressive tea/coffee station. This was a room i actually looked forward to coming back to. A comfortable bed, immaculately clean and well maintained. The location is fantastic. Just a minute or two walk from the seafront and the restaurants and bars in Victoria Rd and the seafront. Plenty of parking around the area too. Staff were friendly and obliging and I am very very impressed with this particularly so as it was little over £50 per night. So because of the very positive experience coupled with the excellent price, I have to give this place a score of five (Excellent)! Highly recommended!

I've recently just had a long stay here and it was perfect for me. Room was very clean and had space and the bed was very comfortable. Helen the landlady couldn't do enough for me. Great price too. Highly recommend
