The environment is so-so. It is not recommended to stay in this hotel if you have to take the stairs with large luggage. But it's very close to shopping malls and restaurants. The transportation is quite convenient.

Location was good, a little over an hour from Charleston. The area is older with little more than gas stations & a few restaurants. The staff were pleasant and breakfast was fine with standard options. The room was quiet and clean enough, but rather outdated. The bed was too soft for our liking. The room was damp and had some type of flies, similar to fruit flies. (Not infested but kind of a nuisance.)

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was well stocked and the hot eggs & sausage were good. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful.

It's the little things that kept me from giving this hotel 3 stars. When you walk in the room has a dusty smell to it, then you look around and see thick dirt coming out of the air conditioner vents, a carpet that looks like it wasn't cleaned in years, a long bathroom mirror that has a film on it, walls and doors scraped up and miscolored. There is a new TV but they are so cheap with their bandwidth all their channels are heavily pixilated. On a positive side, front desk girl awesome, clean bed and linens.

Not much on the area for choices to stay so it will cost a lot for typical worn motel room Musty. Ratty small scratchy towels. Mildew in bathroom and a very sticky remote control. Wasn’t many options for breakfast. Waffles, packaged donuts, dry toast, bagels( no cream cheese) , cereal. Other than that nice front desk and staff. Good hot coffee. Comfortable bed. Maybe that’s anyone needs.

I've stayed here at least 4 times in the past couple years. It's my go to hotel for part of for my drives from western NY to Placida FL. It's safe. I had computer monitors & laptops in my car, visible to others, but knew my car was safe. If you need a room on the ground level, ask for that during reservations. If you or your travel partners have trouble walking, ask for a room facing out to the parking lot, 1st floor. Or if you prefer a pool view room, that's an option for those with normal mobility.

It was very dated, room was somewhat dirty, however, staff was very nice, and plenty of gas stations and food around hotel.
