My husband and I were passing through Walterboro and decided to stop in at this hotel to spend the night. We checked in and was assigned a room on the first floor. The room was creepy, decrepit and just there was a weird odor. My first thought was “This is a Wyndham property?!?! The doors needed to be painted and there was mold in the bathroom and in the bedroom and the carpet was filthy. I slept on top of the sheet and just waited for morning to come because I was so uneasy! With the odor and filthy look, I was wondering if there were also bedbugs around. Never again!!!!!!!! Lesson learned!!!!!!

We will not return. Old tired rooms, paint chipped, old uncomfortable beds, stale musty rooms. Smelled like old cooking oil inside and outside rooms. Noisy. Heater/air conditioning unit very loud. Cats howling all night. Very disappointing.

We were in a room with a king bed. The bottom sheet was a flat sheet that barely covered the top of the mattress.
The smoke detector was missing from the room.
Room was very dusty.
Furniture was worn.
Pillows were small and lumpy.
Toilet was not secured down and it wobbled.
Bath towels were very small and there was only 1 hand towel and face cloth hung out.
We didn’t have breakfast so I can't remark on the breakfast.
Staff at the desk were friendly.

Very clean and quiet both nights, one going South, one coming back. One room needs painting and a new tub; the other one had those issues already taken care of. Liked the microwave and frig. Recommend non carpet flooring. The buffet breakfast with waffles was fine, and the lady at the desk who also took care of the buffet was extra friendly!
