The room size is okay but the air conditioner is too noisy, which affects your rest a bit. The breakfast was not bad, not to mention rich. There were many people drinking in the lobby bar at night. The parking lot in front of the hotel was very large. There was a very good local British restaurant about 15 minutes' walk around. The steak pie was very delicious. There was one about 15 minutes' walk behind the hotel. The takeaway fish and chips is pretty good, a portion of fish and chips seems to be about 12 pounds, which is quite large.

This is a really lovely hotel with very good amenities. My only moan was that the car park is strictly pay no exceptions £4 to park your car at a hotel where you are staying seems a bit wrong.
Although it wouldn’t necessarily put us off going again there are alternative hotels in the area that have free parking for guests.

What a gem this hotel is. Easy friendly check in, spotlessly clean, lovely little touches like the lemonade in reception. The room was lovely, spacious and modern. The toiletries were high end as well. Only downside is the air con, despite being at its lowest, it barely made a difference. Most days this wouldn’t be an issue but for once the sun came out and the room got really stuffy

I have to agree with the previous reviewer, great customer service from Jodie on reception. I was very impressed with my room and the facilities. Jodie on reception made a bold claim about the quality of the breakfast and I have to agree that it was very good, I particularly recommend the sausages!

A very good two night stay, enhanced by being given a complimentary room upgrade at check-in. Spacious and comfortable, but the towel rail radiator in the bathroom was broken and we felt cold. Sub-zero temperature outside. All the staff we encountered were first class.
