Die Reinigungskräfte waren nicht professionell, man musste immer zusehen , dass Toilettenpapier vorhanden war. Staub wurde im Zimmer nicht überall gründlich geputzt.
In einem Hotel dieser Kategorie erwartet man mehr.

The hotel has a great lounge with a sea view. The keeper is having fun and it's bursting from every pore of his being, we really enjoyed being his guests! The service is great, the cocktails are well-intentioned and the chat is warm. At New Year's there was a glass of champagne on the house from the boss himself.

Wir haben nicht im Hause übernachtet und nur die Hotelbar und das Restaurant besucht. Die Hotelbar lockte uns mit einer Happy Hour und wir kehrten auf einen Aperitiv ein. Der junge Barkeeper hat uns an diesem und bei zwei weiteren Besuchen kompetent bedient und die dargebotenen Cocktails waren von bester Qualität. Durch unseren ersten Aufenthalt an der Bar wurden wir auf das Abendbuffet aufmerksam. Dieses haben wir an einem Folgeabend genutzt. Hier wird eine breite Auswahl an Vorspeisen, Hauptspeisen und Desserts angeboten. Bezüglich meiner Nachfrage nach glutenfreien Speisen, kam ein Koch ans Buffet und erläuterte mir alle Speisen. Wir waren am friesischen Abend dort und waren sehr zufrieden. Der Buffetpreis lag unter €40,00. Natürlich muss man in Kauf nehmen, dass Speisen im Warmhalterechaud auch nachgaren und dadurch trockener werden. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder (dann auch gerne mit Übernachtung).

Super Service, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, tolles Restaurant, perfekte Lage und schöne Zusatzangebote (Spa).
Das Zimmer ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, das Bett aber sehr groß und bequem. Da wir eh keine Stubenhocker sind und im Urlaub sowieso schonmal gar nicht, war das Zimmer vollkommen ausreichend.

Der Standort des Hotels ist optimal.
Tolle Blick auf die Nordsee, direkt an der Promenade, aber nicht zu laut.
Der Eingangsbereich und die Bar sind sehr einladend.
Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer welches schon in die Jahre gekommen ist. Alte Möbel sind kein Problem, jedoch waren die Stühle im Zimmer dreckig - undefinierbar ob Sonnecreme oder Getränkeflecken. Ebenso hatte der Teppich flecken. Das Thema mit den Flecken ging auf den Stühlen und Bänken im Speisesaal leider weiter.
