Nightcap at Manhattan Hotel

Ringwood|1.55km from Bateman Street Bushland
Because this was the only hotel within walking distance from my friend's house, we stayed for a total of 4 nights and booked a 2+1+1 deal. Before checking in on the first day, the room fee and a deposit of 100 Australian dollars were charged to my credit card. On the fourth day, I went to the front desk to renew the room card (I couldn't open the door without renewing it). The front desk already knew that this was a prepaid order and asked if the payment would be deducted from the original credit card (I changed the name of the booker on the fourth night but didn't change the room and noted ”extend stay” in the order). I thought that after the prepaid order, the hotel might have to charge a deposit again because the name of the booker had changed, so I replied ”yes”. As a result, not long after, the front desk deducted 157 Australian dollars from the credit card again. I returned to the hotel in the evening and called the front desk. The front desk said it might be the deposit and asked me to talk to the manager tomorrow. I checked out very early the next day and the front desk was not at work. I negotiated with the hotel through text messages. The hotel said that I booked the room twice, once at the front desk and then again on Ctrip two hours later. They were so shameless. I booked the room on Ctrip one night in advance, but I didn't go to the front desk to renew the room card until after 9 o'clock the next day. After the communication failed, I had to contact Ctrip. If the negotiation with Ctrip failed, I would post a complaint on the hotel's official website. After repeated communication with Ctrip, the hotel agreed to refund the money, saying it was a ”communication misunderstanding”. I suggest that compatriots should check their credit card information more often when they go out, and safeguard their legal rights and interests in a timely and resolute manner, so that the chickens and dogs of T can't hide.

We recently stayed here for 4 nights and for the price that you pay isn't the service that you receive. It all started when we tried to find our room after it wasn't explained to us how the ”buildings” work. As we tried to get back into the reception area, we found ourselves in the fire escape as our tag for the escalator didn't work in that area. We finally got ourselves into the room to find it not so clean. On a day trip to Healesville and surrounding area's we were responsible and left the car at an establishment for the night and got an Uber. It wasn't until we needed the room keys and discovered we left the keys in our car. Unfortunately, this ”Hotel” only has 1 set of keys. We called reception (as no one mans this at all) and we were given the incorrect room key as a spare. Another phone call has us sorted for the key only (no more tags for the security access to the doors and escalator). Prior to this the manager stated he would be home when we get home from dinner to let us in. We rang and rang and rang (14 times in total) no answer. We messaged through Facebook and tried every alternate. Still to date no answer. Yes, we made it difficult for ourselves with leaving the keys in the car however what a * show it is to get access without it. The reception line was call forwarded onto the managers mobile phone which was turned off. The rooms don't get serviced (Please make up my room) daily, not enough soap etc left for the length of our stay. Never again!!

Knox International Hotel and Apartments

Do not stay here. Avoid the Knox International at all cost! Our room had stains on the carpet, lounge and chairs. A quilt on the single bed was ripped and stained, no mattered protectors and the mattress was stained, the queen size quilt was covered in stains, holes in walls, exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work, spider webs in the window, and we woke up to a cockroach on the wall. I felt sick after seeing how bad the bedding was and knowing we had slept there. The room wasn’t ready at check in and we had to drive around Melbourne for 1.5hrs before the room was ready. We had to check out and find other accommodation.
Golden Pebble Hotel

Breakfast at the restaurant, pay for it, the service attitude is good; facilities are equivalent to domestic Samsung standards, average, remember to bring your own slippers, toiletries; not good for extra beds, you can spread out the sofa, but sleep uncomfortable; Noisy, the neighborhood is basically the community, very quiet, not many people, basically no one can meet at night.
