Hotels Near Ostseebad Warnemunde in Warnemunde

We travelled for Easter 2022. We chose Aja Warnemünde because we had visited Aja Bad Sarow once and were satisfied. We paid a total of 1200 euros for 3 nights for 3 people with half-pension. Then the disappointment came on the first day of the trip. In the spa area we should share a bed to third, because there were not enough beds. Ground - many external visitors that were identified on the bracelets and so the beds were not enough for the hotel guests. The next disappointment came to the evening - the most beautiful tables with sea view in the restaurant were already “reserved” for the entire stay. Eating is OK, but nothing special. Tomates were of the cheapest - without taste. We wanted to go to bed tired when we realized that the bed linen was everywhere with holes. After our request next day, the bed linen was changed. But this is not possible - not for the price of EUR 1200. The hotel is located in the centre of the city centre and is located in the centre of the city centre. This should happen with us on Sunday - but it is not!! We only got toilet paper and towels according to my request, although the room should actually be sucked because the sand of the floor was already dirty. A lady then wanted to clean the room just Monday before check out - there was no coordination between reception and cleaning. If we weren't in the room, the lady would have cleaned the room twice.... before checkout and after. So overall disappointing. Concluded: The young lady at the pool bar was very nice. There were offers of osters for the children. The massage in the Niveahaus by the staff member Elizabeth was very pleasant.

We needed a night accommodation for 1 night. The hotel was perfect. It works all new and modern. Our room had a double bed and a double bed. The cleanliness was innocent. The mattresses were not yet passed through. The breakfast buffet was small, but for 7.50€ incl. drinks, unsatisfactory, cheap. S-track and tram are in the immediate vicinity. Point deduction is available for too few parking and little rooms at breakfast. There can be time to wait for shots. All in all a very good price-performance ratio and very recommend!

A simple functional equipment. Unfortunately, a large group did not allow breakfast in the first two days. Although there are many nice and good cafés in Rostock, the search became more difficult than expected. There was a lot of booking in the morning. From the 3rd day we had breakfast in the hotel, which was much more relaxed. All we needed was available. There was even sheep and mandel milk, so I was “saved”, as I can't eat everything and I depend on corn flakes with fruit. The staff was super friendly and pre-existent. It was nicely clean everywhere.

I feel a little sad for this property. A former Steigenberger, it opened more than 25 years ago and you still can tell, a lot of money was spend on the interior back than. But that, as mentioned, was more than 25 years ago! The now Vienna House faces a lot of competition by new hotels (Ana, Premier Inn, Motel One) or recently renovated one (pentahotel, Radisson Blu), so they just can't carry on with the 1990's style - it definately needs a makeover. Wooden furniture with dents and water marks everywhere, yellowed lamp shades, stained walls, carpets and ceilings... it's just not state of the art, anymore. Wifi was very unstable and we encountered an hairdryer without a protective grid which was a security hazard. That said: we slept great as our superior room was totally quiet and we really enjoyed the huge breakfast buffet. Staff was overall courteous and we were granted late check-out for no surcharge. The hotel's location is central with several tram lines just a few meters away and only a short walk to the pedestrian zone. Would me return? Yes, we would as the rates do reflect the outdated hotel's interior and the pros still weigh more than the cons.

Wieder wurde uns ein grandioser Jahreswechsel außergewöhnlich ermöglicht. Das Thema - Purple Night -. In der Farbe Lila erstrahlte das Grandhotel im herrlichsten Glanz und passend dazu unzählige Details. Die Restaurants wurden mit viel Liebe dekoriert, durch verschiedene Künstler und angenehmen Gästen mit Leben gefüllt. Im Kurhaus wurden fünf Gänge mit passenden edlen Tropfen kredenzt. Der krönende Abschluss : In der Davidoff - Bar durfte bis früh „gezappelt“ werden. Es sind die vielen Mitarbeiter welche sich auch bis in die frühen Morgenstunden größte Mühe geben um ihren Gästen ein Erlebnis mit möglichst völliger Zufriedenheit zu bescheren. In unseren Augen habt ihr dies wieder bravourös gemeistert, ja ihr habt wieder richtig abgeliefert! Danke dem gesamten Haus! Für das Jahr 2024 sei gewünscht, dass es wieder zahlreiche Gäste gibt, welche das Grandhotel Heiligendamm zu schätzen wissen und mit allen Sinnen die Geschichte des ersten deutschen Seebades positiv weiterverbreiten. We can only recommend the hotel. A very tasty facility throughout the house, selected with love for details. Our Junior Suite in 2. Stock with view through the trees on the beach and sea was equipped with everything including wool covers for the balcony, rain screen, sufficient wooden clothing boxes in the closet (without ”Kloppix” - we hate them). Various tea bags and coffee pads for the Nespresso machine, various amenities in the bathroom (except shower), a great rain shower, floor heating, etc. A notepad with free internet access rounds the offer. Only the room temperature in our room was somewhat overheated. The location of the hotel on the beach promenade is optimal. The parking area directly opposite was calculated with €14-- per day. Breakfast buffet is with the best we have enjoyed so far. On the first night we had dinner in the hotel's brasserie. Also here a very good quality at reasonable prices. The only tip to the kitchen: The cock for the Coq au vin was a little too small, so you had to be careful that when cutting the meat the sauce was not overspoken. In the evening we still put on a drink in the cozy hotel bar and we were happy to have found a really great hotel in the refrigerator with ”Europa”. The price/performance ratio was 100%. However, we were there in the secondary season, which certainly also affects room prices.

Wir machen jährlich ein Freundinnenwochenende und 2023 sollte es in Kühlungsborn sein. Darum hatten wir im Januar `23 das „Ostseeluft“-Angebot gebucht: im Doppelzimmer Deluxe. Zzgl. einer Massage im Wellnessbereich. Das Einchecken ging recht fix. Wir erhielten entgegen unserer Buchung allerdings eine Suite unterm Dach. Sie war ohne Beleuchtung recht dunkel und hatte auch den einen oder anderen kleinen Reparaturbedarf. Sonst war auch sie soweit i.O. (Aber eigentlich wäre uns das DZ Deluxe viel lieber gewesen!) Das Frühstücksangebot war super auch der Service in diesem Bereich. Zügig wurden Lücken im Büfett aufgefüllt. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle durch die Bank freundlich und aufmerksam. 2x waren wir im „Wolkenlos“ zum Abendessen – Büfett. Das war auch sehr gut. Viele Salate dabei und Gemüse, Fisch, Fleisch und etwas Süßes. Auch hier waren die Mitarbeiter super. Freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und hell. 1x hatten wir dann ein Candle-Light-Dinner in der Orangerie. Etwas gehobenes Ambiente. Das Essen und auch der Service ließen nichts zu wünschen übrig. Danke für den netten Abend. Im Wellnessbereich hatten wir eine Aromaölmassage 65 min lange vor unserer Anreise gebucht. Die war auch super entspannend und ist zu empfehlen. Die Mitarbeiterinnen sind alle sehr freundlich. Da hatten wir nun auch unser „Geschenk“ erwartet, dass uns im Angebot aus dem SPA Bereich überreicht werden sollte. Das erhielten wir dann allerdings erst auf Rückfrage und Klärung. Es gibt einen Pool im Wellnessbereich, Saunen, einen Fitnessraum. Also kann man auch bei schlechtem Wetter sinnvoll seine Zeit im Urlaub verbringen :o) Begrenzte Parkmöglichkeiten sind hinter dem Hotel für 12 Euro/ÜN. Die Ostsee ist eigentlich „gleich vor der Tür“. Nur über die Straße und man ist in 2 min auf der Promenade mit weitem Blick über das Ufer der Ostsee. Das ist eine super Lage. Fazit ist. Alles in allem war unser Aufenthalt doch sehr entspannt. Und wenn man einen „Taler“ mehr überhat, kann man das wohl mal machen.
