From the moment we entered The Abbey we knew this was going to be a special stay. The rooms are so beautifully decorated, the choice of rooms is really incredible, there aren’t a lot of places you go and find that your rooms are nicer than the photos on their web site. Our whole experience was so special, from our cheese plater and wine in the gazebo when we arrived, drinks in The Scarlet room, to the incredible culinary delight, that was dinner. The staff were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. We stayed 2 nights and I am so glad we did, thank you for such a wonderful stay.

A magnificent experience in Old World Charm. The loft is a modern room yet created within a unique roof line, nook with a stunning view to the outside world. A note to guests would be to become familiar with take out food if like us you don't like fast food options.. Internet a problem in this spot if that's a necessity.. Quiet, Glamorous, Huge, Authentic, Memorable.

Loved our stay even if it was only the one night. What a stunning building with period furniture. The owners have worked very hard to maintain this 1800’s stone building and it is a credit to them. We stayed in a room on the second floor, room 8 with a lovely queen, 4 poster bed and an ensuite. The $$$ to stay here is not cheap however neither would the cost to maintain and run this property. As this is an old building it took a long time for the hot water to arrive, and when it did there was not a lot of it, even though the shower had a rain head shower fitting. Owners do not offer a late check in after 7pm however were happy for us to leave our luggage earlier in the day and come back. We will stay again next time we are in Warwick.

Stunning building and wonderful staff. Our room was absolutely beautiful - exceptional soft furnishings, en-suite, high vaulted ceiling and verandah access. Mark was a fabulous host and shared many insights about the town. Highly recommended.

A beautiful stone building that is being very well maintained by the owners. We stayed one night on our way back from Stanthorpe. We chose the Bazil room on the ground floor which was a lovely size, ensuite and large king bed. A separate verandah was attached that overlooked some of the gardens.

Be very wary of booking a "special deal" with this establishment. My husband & l booked a few days (mid week) here last year and paid up fully over $700, as part of the "special deal". Unfortunately, we both contracted Covid and a few days prior to our booking we had to cancel those dates. We asked to postpone our booking to later in the year. The manager/owner refused to speak to either of us on the telephone and a desk clerk was not allowed to put through our calls to her, she would only communicate through emails. We were very disappointed as we were looking forward to our visit. The establishment has kept over $700 of our money and refused to offer a "rain check" or returned our money. As senior citizens this is quite a lot of money to lose through no fault of our own. I wish to warn others, especially those in our age group, to avoid paying up front as this establishment is unforgiving.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Abbey Boutique Hotel. The staff made our stay so special. We were a group of 11 and we were all catered for so well. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, the food was delicious and it was the little extras like theming our private dinning room to fit in with the Great Gatsby outfits that we were all wearing. We would certainly recommend and we shall return for another stay in the future.

My husband and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary. We couldn’t have loved it more! We originally booked a small room, however my husband spontaneously upgraded us. Best decision ever. I recommend booking room number 6! So much character mixed with a touch of modern. This hotel is such an experience. Thank you for having us and we can’t wait to come back.

Another relaxing stay at The Abbey. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast, the usual great ambience - it was a real treat. We added a steam train experience from Warwick to Clifton which was great fun too.
