We loved the trip! The hotel is in a perfect location. The room is a bit small but we didn’t spend much time there. No free breakfast! The staff is great!!!!

The location of the hotel is very close to the White House. Although the room is a bit small, it is clean and tidy. The view on the top floor is very good, there is a bar, and the service attitude of the staff is good. The only bad thing is that they call the front desk to get us cleaning supplies and they never show up , a little disappointed😞 Also, the bed is too soft, I can't rest well at night, and the coffee machine can't be used. Overall, I only agree that the location and hygiene here are very good. Others are not recommended

 1. It's a good geographical location for sightseeing, so when I was tired during sightseeing, I would come in for a short rest and then go out again. 2. The air conditioner cooling/heating worked normally, and the bedding was clean and nice. 3. The sink, bathroom, and toilet are separated from each other. There is nothing particularly inconvenient, but it was disappointing that there was no bathtub. 4. The shower head in the bathroom was fixed at the top, so I couldn't move it freely, so this part was inconvenient. 5. There was a large TV, refrigerator, and iron. 6. The view was satisfactory because there was a nice building right in front of it. 7. But the real highlight of this hotel is the rooftop lounge. The night view from the rooftop is unparalleled. (Rooftop is very popular. It is a hot place with rooftop customers from early evening to dawn.) 

The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the White House and the Washington Monument. Hotel service is very good!

This hotel is not bad.

great in every way

Probably the worst service I have had at a hotel above a chain hotel. LOTS of attitude and lack of attention to detail. From the front desk saying they would make us a dinner reservation, to being told we didn’t have a reservation and we could sit and wait (without the slightest idea of how long it would be), to room service bringing two desserts (instead of three) and only one set of silverware for the two desserts. The only saving grace was that the hotel is beautiful and well-appointed. Truly disappointed.

We have stayed here a couple of times now and we love it. It has a creative vibe, and hosts a lot of events, so the lobby scene makes for good people watching. Fun rooftop bar. The rooms are comfortable, beds are amazing. We love the breakfasts, too, though the kitchen can be a bit slow when they are crowded. There are many walkable restaurants, stores, and sights in the area. The buzz of downtown DC is here!

Location is great, nice hotel and friendly staff. Small rooms, bathroom doors poorly designed, water comes out and made it all the way to the carpeted bedroom every time someone took a shower which was annoying to keep cleaning. Bedsheet was ripped. Also someone charged their dinner to my room and hopefully they fix that.

We had a comfortable room. The location of the hotel is perfect and we were able to walk to all the sites we wanted to visit. Fireclay Restaurant is very nice as well.

This hotel is steps from the White House and Washington Monument - all of dwtwn DC. Also in a location with pubs, coffee shops, food vendors, drug stores and even a Marshalls. Everything you want! The hotel is remodeled with a fresh Euro-modern vibe. I recieved credit coupons for the ground-floor restaurant and lobby store (booze and sodas mainly). The real stand-out was the roof top restaurant and bar. Simply amazing western views - wonderful sunset. Very large area that has much room for everyone whether you want to sit at a bar or be seated to eat. The good was great and the drinks strong. Our room was sparkling clean. I thought the arrangement a little off with too big a bathroom and a narrow entrance that also had the sink. But the bed was out of this world! The staff are all super friendly and helpful all the way. I had already gave the hotel a complimentary review on their own website. My one complaint was in-room coffee maker that worked poorly - they actually apologized! What great experience. And I must mention the room rates are very competitive - quite affordable for that class of a hotel. Highly recommend Hotel Washington.

Central location, safe and quiet. Staff were all friendly and helpful. What I didn't like was the size of the room, too cramped. Restaurants were too expensive ($6 for a cup of coffee) and drinks at the bar were outrageously priced ($36 for a margarita).

Perfect location for a quick stay to enjoy the sites and DC. Could walk just about anywhere and plenty of places for food nearby.

A good centrally located hotel in DC. Honestly, overpriced for what you get esp with the $40 a day resort fee and tax. Would stay elsewhere on a future trip. Fri and Sat nights the whole hotel shakes due to the rooftop "club". Housekeeping was great every day though would be very loud each morning opening and closing doors.
