It is a short distance away from famous tourist attractions by public transportation! However, it is close and can be reached in 1-20 minutes by public transportation. When I stayed, there was construction on the first floor and there was noise, but I only felt it when I checked in and didn't feel it inside the room. Since it is a university area, there are convenient facilities such as convenience stores and Starbucks.

It was terrible. There was very loud disruptive construction and they didnt tell me there would be construction until the day before I arrived, therefore it was too late to change hotels.

Great location close to the mall area and subway stations. Front desk staff was always friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and newly remodeled. Fitness room was clean and well equipped. My only complaint was that the beds seemed a little hard, but not terrible. For being in a busy traffic area the room was surprisingly quiet.

Hotel is undergoing renovations on some floors. Quiet during sleeping hours. Rooms and bathroom were new and comfortable. The bistro restaurant offered generous portions, but was a little expensive. Parking is valet only and there is only one person retrieving/parking cars. Leads to congestion and long wait times.

I always like Courtyard properties and this one is a solid member of the family. It’s a little unfair to judge it from this visit because the hotel is in the midst of a renovation. The lobby was in a state of disarray and the restaurant was closed. That said, everything else was pretty good. My room was spacious and quite comfortable. The fitness center was nice, but it seemed a little dated (although I was told that it was about to be renovated). The location is very convenient to the Mall at GW. I look forward to coming back when the renovation is complete.

I like that it was easy walking distance to all the monuments. The room was nice and it was a nice hotel. The staff was nice also. I would highly recommend this hotel.
