10 minutes from subway station and supermarket. The transportation is convenient. The room was spacious and clean. It's just that the refrigerator in the kitchen is a bit loud. Good service attitude

The River Inn was just perfect for our 5 day break in Washington. We are an active couple in our early 60’s. Location is so convenient to the subway which was so easy to use. Also very close to the Georgetown waterfront and the Kennedy Centre. The most amazing asset of this hotel is the staff. Everybody was so friendly, welcoming and facilitating. We received a complimentary upgrade so it was an added bonus. No noise at night and very quiet safe location. Would definitely recommend and if returning to Washington would stay again.

We had a great stay at the River Inn. The room on the 8th floor was big and modern, had a nice view of the city and was quiet. It also seemed the kitchen had recently received a little upgrade. The location is unbeatable, walking distance to Georgetown, the White House, the Mall, etc. and very close to the metro. The only thing that I didn't like so much was the mattress - too firm for my back, but it didn't seem to bother my son.

while off any main street, is still close to restaurants and a Metro stop. mostly residential area. we walked most places. clean and convenient. very friendly and personable staff who responded to questions and needs very quickly. large, comfortable room. would stay again when in DC.
