The Yellowwood

First of all our door didn’t lock, and they did not fix it even after telling us they would and the ceiling leaked so if you were sitting down to use the toilet, you got water all on you

Stayed for the eclipse with friends so we rented 2 rooms. Property was beautiful but unpaved and cracked road and pitch black at night. Not even any tiny lights out back to sit and have a drink. No ice machine either. Simple fix could improve on that but the real problem was the moldy/sulfur smell all over, especially near the hot tubs. They have to fix that somehow as many of the other reviews also mentioned it and for the price the room should have been cleaner. It was dusty with dead bugs in the corners. There was no one on the property to ask about anything and when I called the answering machine picked up. Left message/no response. This is a beautiful property in a great location and with some care could be top notch. I would like to give it another chance because we are at IU often but no one is even responding to the reviews or calls .

The property well maintained. I especially liked all of the tv apps and having access to them. I was shocked to see pandora was also included. Even though there is no front desk a host reached out to us. She shared her number and hours just in case we needed anything. Definitely would recommend staying here.

Do not stay here!! We didn’t even stay and left after being there for not even 10 minutes. While the hot tub in the room concept seems nice the smell in the entire building is nauseating. We both had a headache after a few minutes of being in the room due to the chemical smell of the hot tub chemicals and there is no ventilation in the room unless you open the balcony door which isn’t practical in the middle of December. There was what appeared to be dried blood on the top corner of the bedding comforter which was clearly visible when we walked in, we pulled back the bedding to find long dark hairs in the bed, it looked like the bedding was never changed from whoever stayed there prior. There was no front desk to get assistance and no one answered the number they claim you can call. We left and didn’t stay and they refused to give us our money back. Do not waste your time or money with this place!!!

Nice clean room, close to Nashville, IN and Brown County State Park. Had some difficulty with the heat in the room so the first night was cold. There isn't anyone at the check in area but the house keeping person was around, maybe because we were there off season???

Quiet and nice plug-in need replaced

All night hot tub was making loud noise, it could not be turned off, very unpleasant sleep

The room was very nice and clean. The ladybugs were terrible around the corners of the room but we were warned about this before coming and they let us know they could have someone come and vacuum them up if they bothered us, which was nice. This is something that comes with the time of year. The hot tub was very nice and clean as well as the rest of the room. The bed wasn't the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on, however, the sheets and blankets were super soft and warm unlike most hotels you stay at. The couch in the room was also super comfortable and big enough for someone to sleep on if needed. We were in a room that walked out to the back of the building. It has beautiful landscape and had it not been raining we would have taken more advantage of that amenity. Overall, it was a great stay and we would recommend it to others.

Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of lighting to get to your designated room.
