Me and my fiancé stayed there for 6 nights and it was magical. Excellent atmosphere excellent service. The place is sure clean. The foods delicious lots Of activities to do and things to see you have the beach right there within walking distance of your bungalow. They have a pool also if you don’t feel like going to the beach but I feel you’d be making a big mistake it’s amazing. Feeling that cool Indian Ocean water. You can see all kinds of birds and animals. It’s an absolute paradise. I’d easily gives this place a 10/10 and recommend it to anyone.

A great ambience and the rooms are not squeezed together hence privacy is not compromised. The rooms are big enough and clean. Steady water supply both warm and cold. Clean beddings. Delicious food with many options to pick from. Friendly staffs, always willing to help out. It was a 10/10 for me, my kids and almost all of my colleagues we visited with. The lichthaus restaurant is game changer and every client should purpose to have at least one dinner there

I have stayed at Temple Point from the 28.04.2026 till the 2.05.2026 and even though I was part of a company training I have to say that it was a true pleasure being there. The staff is very attentive and here I want to hightlight Anthony. He was truly remarkable. He was so kind to lend me a charger of his for my entire stay. The mexican manager, forgive forgetting your name, asked every day, for every meal if everything is in order. The german executive chef went all out every day for the meals whether it was a swahili night with live music, finger food for the out of africa film night (getting a german currywurst 😋) or for our last night sharing meals (from salads, tapas to beef filet, prawns, stuffed crabs). Then about the rooms, I stayed in the boutique room which was very spacious, had an AC and fan and a coffee/tea station plus a mini fridge. I had a nice shared terrace. The main area of the hotel has a beautiful pool, spa and the famous Lichthaus bar. All in all I can only recommend this place cause you will feel home. Thank you Temple Point!!!

Perfect place to stay on full board and not have to go anywhere. You've got the Mida creek on one side and an almost private beach on the side of the ocean. The food is to die for and I've most certainly gained a few kilo's after being completely spoiled by the chef! But not to worry because there is also a more than fully kitted gym with personal trainer and great activity program and a watersports center on site! Definitely recommend the SUP in the mangroves, I couldn't get enough of it! The rooms are beautiful, clean and cozy and very well stocked. Families with children will find it's very child friendly too. This was my 3rd stay here and will definitely not be my last!

Clean comfortable rooms with stunning sea views. The meals are 10/10 and so are the staffs, with an amazing customer service. The Lichthouse is an experience i'll never forget. I can't wait to get back again.

Perfect stay, perfect food! We had such an amazing time. The atmosphere was very relaxing and coastal. Quiet and easygoing vibe. The food was 6 out of 5, you won't find this kind of food in many places along the kenyan coast!

We had an amazing stay with some of the best food I’ve had on the coast. Honestly, this is probably one of the most underrated properties in the area — and I’ve seen quite a lot. My kids loved it as well. The hotel has a beautiful private beach where you can fully relax without being disturbed by beach sellers. At the same time, the mangroves create a completely different atmosphere and offer great activities and experiences. The rooms could use a few small touch-ups, but we were told these improvements will be done during the current closure period. The gym is excellent, and the Lichthaus Bar became our daily sunset swim spot — such a special place to end the day. A huge shout-out to the kitchen team. The food was outstanding throughout our stay: from healthy and fresh dishes to comforting soul food and beautifully prepared local-inspired cuisine. There’s something for everyone, and everything we tried was consistently delicious. One big recommendation: definitely do the kayak or SUP tour through the mangroves. It’s absolutely beautiful and one of the highlights of the stay.
