Waterford Castle was the perfect location for our golfing society. We thoroughly enjoyed the golf, perfect for all levels of golfers. The lodges were ideal and the clubhouse team were very helpful Stephen and Ryan. We also had dinner in the Castle which was superb. Thank you to Gillian for helping us with the arrangements, everything went according to plan. It was a most enjoyable weekend.

Wonderful experience! Beautiful grounds, stunning interior with clean beautifully decorated rooms. Definitely take time to walk the castle grounds. Highly recommend evening dinner. The food is delicious and the servers cater to your every need. The breakfast is equally as good! Do not miss the fresh honey dripping from the cone! The continuous fire in the main entrance fireplace is definitely fit for royalty! Would absolutely recommend staying at Waterford Castle.

Disgrace, would not recommend staying here at all. Do yourself a favour and find somewhere else that actually cares about what they're doing. Dreadful experience and would not come again if I was paid. Not an experience I would like to repeat.

My husband and I recently got married at Waterford Castle and can't express how happy we were with simply everything, from initial engagement with our wedding co-ordinator right through to the small details throughout the weekend. All the staff were amazing. The housekeeping staff were invisible and always did an amazing job on our room, and the F&B staff and Managers were very accommodating with any request, from the wedding dinner to some casual bar nibbles for a big group within minutes on the evening of Day 2... The location is simply amazing, where you need to take a small ferry to a private island, and for your wedding then the castle is yours for the evening, making the whole location even more special and intimate. Highly recommended for either a romantic stay or for a wedding!

The overall experience of food, drink and staff were second to none. The only point that needs to improve on is the dress code in the main restaurant, jeans should not be allowed, as many guests make the effort to adhere to, some do not, and mars the experience.

Phenomenal hotel - beautiful setting and elegant; restaurant was solid and hospitality was great; went with family and we all had a great time. The food was phenomenal and was impressed with how large and how beautiful the suites were. The ability to play croquet was also a nice touch.

Beautiful Grounds and Ferry was very frequent. Stayed at the Lodges which were very spacious and comfortable, and ate at the Golf club which was nice . Let down was we were told there was tea and coffee at the lodge but only 3 tea bags and 3 Maxwell house coffee sachets which were weak and tasted off when made. I love my coffee and had to wait for castle to be open after private event to get a good coffee..... Such a simple thing but good coffee so important Or else don't say it's provided so people can bring decent stuff.

We had a wonderful time. Beautiful grounds to explore and pick wild fruit. The dinner was tasty. The room was light and airy. I will plan on a round of golf here on my next visit. Would strongly recommend this property. The staff was always helpful.
