The only reason I’m giving it a three is for the amazing staff, otherwise this hotel really needs good cleaners and remodel! Our hotel room smelt really bad of smoke. The carpets were stained badly. Our tv didn’t work , the phone was busted and not plugged in( was a pain having to keep going to the front desk to get assistance ) we had a bed skirt missing off one of the beds. Our ceiling looked like a jigsaw puzzle with all the patch work done. We weren’t aware that you had to tell the hotel to clean our room. We came back to the room the way it was left. So we went down to get towels and coffee refills for the machine. The towels were horrible . So warn out and used it was awful. HOWEVER, the staff did everything positive to help . Although the converter for the tv wasn’t working atleast he fixed the tv so it was watchable . They gave us a credit for the phone and bedskirt. ( we didn’t want to look like we did it so we reported it) gave us fresh towels , better than the first set! I could go on but Best Western get on it and fix this hotel for employees and visitors!

I had to deal with blood stains hair and cockroaches, and an awful smell in my bedroom. Don’t even dare go take a swim in the pool the bottom of the pool make you feel like you’re gonna fall through it. There is also mold and mildew all around the pool area, if you are looking to get high off of chlorine or a headache, I do not recommend I do not recommend for anyone to stay here

Property is runned down. Eating area, spilled spots all over walk. Ceiling tiles missing in a lot of spaces. Pool area, no towels. Someone passed the broom but didn’t pick up dirt, left in a pile near stairs.

The entire hotel was very clean! The staff were so friendly and accommodating! Was our first stay there and will definitely be going back!

The restaurant is not open there anymore. It could have been cleaner in public areas. The room was clean and front desk staff were very nice!

The snow was not removed around the building we were assigned. Unsafe to walk around.

We were out in an area that the parking lot was not adequately shoveled. It was hard enough to get to the door that our rooms were near but when we got to the door plowing thru 6 inches of snow/ice, the key did not work in the lock. We had to pick our way thru 3 feet drifts AT THE ENTRY TO THE NEXT CLOSEST door. Not sure why the snow was pushed to the entry instead of the ba l of the parking lot. In addition when we got to our room it was part of a suite with an adjoining room. There was a door inside the room that lead to the door next to us. There was very little to stop us from hearing each other. We tried to use tv to drown out our neighbors (not their fault people do want to have their good time) the remote was bad. It was a miserable experience. For the last few months we have stayed at this hotel pretty regularly. After this last unpleasant experience we will not be returning.

We booked this hotel for a night and we were skeptical when first arriving . But like they always say, you can't judge a book by its cover. When we walked through the front doors into the lobby , it was very nice . The service manager was absolutely amazing and very helpful . He allowed us to check in early and went above and beyond with anything else we needed . If we ever find ourselves back in Watertown for the night, we will be booking here for sure.

Came here because my sin was returning from deployment. Pros: close to historic downtown. The food in town was delicious. Cons: The bathtub didn't drain and, after several requests, still not drained. The hotel website advertised a restaurant and bar on-site. Upon check-in, we were informed both closed in August 2023. Also, do not expect room to be even gently cleaned. You have to read the fine print at check-in to know that you have to request that service. Also, I heard several other visitors complain about items that didn't work in their rooms and were told "sorry," but there is nothing we can do. While the staff were very friendly, they could only work with what they have and apparently it's not much.
