Canberra Park

What an awesome fine. We spent 6 nights here. Bathrooms are new and kept clean. Camp kitchen huge. Plenty of room for the kids to kick a ball in the paddock. Walking distance to light rail which is approx just over a km away. Big M is just around the corner. Every Saturday you have the farmers market opposite to walk to which is amazing 10/10. We will be back.

Horrible, Found a nail in my food and another person found a bunch of hair in their food, Food also was disgusting and I got a stomach ache after that. At night I found out that one of my friends had dirty sheets and had to change them. There are weird stains on the walls and the bathrooms are dirty. The bed was skunk and squeaked and was bent and I thought it broke. Was very cold in the room with the aircon on and the windows closed probably due to bad isolation. Overall I hated this place and do not recommend it.

Our third time staying here with our van. We come back because it's easy access to slab sites, there's clean modern amenities, it's easy to pop back onto main thoroughfares to go south or journey further north. This time we travelled without our dogs but when we travelled with them before I found that there's plenty of grounds to walk them in for exercise. One of the best places to do this activity. We'll be back again. Can't recommend it enough. Everything is so new and fresh and staff friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a drive through site over the Easter long weekend. The park and facilities are immaculate. Great location for sightseeing. No more than 10 minutes from most places. Definitely be staying here again.

Expensive sites, but that seems to be Canberra caravan parks in general. The caravan park is fairly new so lacks greenery, and the way the planting is done, is always going to lack shade. Plenty of room whether it is a drive through slab, or a back in one. No pool which is unfortunate, but there is plenty of room to expand their current facilities whether it is a pool, playground etc. The location is makes accessing Canberra very convenient and easy. Park is nice and quiet, well lit at night. Amenties are kept very clean, but showers are poorly designed i.e your things are going to get wet in the change area of the shower. Camp kitchen is incredibly well appointed, with plenty of room and facilities, and once again, kept very clean. When I first enquired about booking here, Hayley was very very helpful. When I did book, and speak to another staff member, I was given incorrect information re. paying. Even though the written stuff in the email was sent out, I took the word of the staffer when I booked. What I was told did not happen and created what I considered to be a very serious issue. The park manager immediately contacted me (the receptionist had told him I was not happy), on a public holiday which was good of him to do, and unexpected, He was very good, and listened to my concerns. I realise this is a staff training matter that will hopefully be resolved in future.

Do not support this hotel, apparently it is ok to allow our helpless kids on camp at this hotel, stay in freezing rooms (wearing parkas to bed) to stay warm because they couldn’t fix the air conditioning in their room. No back up plan by the hotel and wouldn’t give them another warm room. The kids are now so sick but apparently that’s ok. You should be ashamed of yourselves hotel owners.

Great Caravan Park to park up and see the sights of Canberra. The ammenities are new, clean and well maintained. Friendly service from the staff. The caravan and camping sites cater well to larger vehicles and big vans.

Somerville house year 6 camp was terrible.We paid a lot of money and water was Terrible, food was a disaster( undercook and all crappy choises) we did not have any healthy option with that expensive price tag.All the food was revolting fast food.cheapest breakfast. I was hungry and we were not allowed to use our own money to buy proper food. and the whole time could not enjoy Canbbera because we had to sat at listen to boring history lessons.I don't know why they call it even camp when there is no adventure. Gross rooms, dirty, no lock on the toilet and shower seriously if it wasn't for the school I would have not stay even for one hour.cold stuffy rooms with the most terrible squeaky beds on earth that gives you nightmares. location was bd too.smelly sheets and pillows with stains on it.please don't get fooled by the photos people.Do some research before wasting your precious money in a crappy place like this.

The serving staff was amazing and very kind, the food was delicious especially the butter chicken. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet I slept very well, breakfast was not the greatest but dinner was amazing. Would love to stay again some time.
