Work in progress
At front desk were friendly. Working out the kinks with hotel being opened for only a month.
Fridge did not work. But staff fixed it for the rest of our stay.
Recommend another garbage can added. Small garbage can only.
Breakfast was not good . Mom’s breakfast biscuit came with no egg or cheese. My sandwich had not bacon. Cancelled it and went else where

Unfortunately the bathroom door was a slider that came off its tracks. There was noone available to fix it on our Sunday afternoon arrival. No privacy. We were staying to attend a concert next door to the hotel. The after hours party in the hotel went till 4am on our floor and it was loud. We could hear everything several rooms away. Looks cool and upscale, but ended up being Ikea built.

Stayed for husbands 42nd Birthday to attend event at Vibrant Music Hall. Overall the room was nice. However the TV we never could get to work. You would go through the steps to set the clock, scan the channels and never once did any channels show up. Called down to front desk and they had no idea what to do. Said they could move us rooms. Wasn't practical at 12am. For what is spent for a nights stay you would expect something so simple to work, just generic cable would've been fine.

We stayed here to see a concert at Vibrant Music Hall which is right next door. It was so convenient and the hotel is brand new, so we really enjoyed how clean it was. Staff was fabulous, very accommodating.

This property is absolutely stunning. The front desk took their time and told me about some of the unique features of the hotel like the chandelier being a soundwave of the word "Aloft". rooms were great and the entire vibe of the property was awesome. This hotel will ALWAYS be my go-to hotel when i'm in Des Moines!
