Super 8 by Wyndham Waxahachie TX

Our overall stay was pleasant and the staff was attentive and friendly. The issues we did have was running toilet, clogged shower drain, and the heater did not work the night we needed it.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was under renovation but our stay was great.

First of all 1wash cloth for 2 people trying to stay an extra night but was being charged $20 for early check in.

The room had a desk with desk chair. A table with a regular chair. An overstuffed chair that you did not sink into. A large flat screen TV. A microwave and a small fridge. The only problem was 1 washcloth and 1 hand for two people.

Place was nice, however door key didn’t work for the first room they gave me and they put me in a room further from the door. When asked to mop up the room because I spilled juice, nothing was done and it upset me. I told the housekeeper and the desk.

I slipped in the shower tube and fell. There had to have been soap residue or similar on the tub surface. There was not mat or a adhesive strips on the tube surface. This experience combined with staff's lack of urgency may have affected my overall rating.

This property has recently had a "refresh". Brand new paint, floors, etc. The exterior was being worked on in a few places while we were there. I would have rated higher however the bed was a full NOT a queen, the refrigerator didn't work, AND there were only three pillows when I consistently request that there be four. Minor things, really. Location, free breakfast and cost make us happy.

Good for the price. Breakfast was just the waffle machine and a few other continental items. Super thin walls and random noises from the heater all night long

Great clean hotel. Nothing fancy but clean, plenty of parking spaces. Great location. Very nice and helpful staff. Mr Patel was great.
