Waya Island Hotels with Bars

This was our 5th trip to Octopus. Interesting that management did not acknowledge this in any way. In the 2 years since our last stay in 2022, it was great to see that parts of the house reef have recovered, but still a long way from what it used to be before cyclone damage. The staff were lovely as always, and the meals are generally good, with variety. Over the years we have been to Octopus, we have noticed an increased popularity for families with young children/babies staying here, which does not make for a relaxing holiday for couples. We stayed in a beachfront bure, the garden bures, which seemed popular with families, are very close to the beachfront, so if you stay here expect to hear the crying babies waking you up during the night and before 6am. We are unlikely to stay here again, will book adults only resorts for our annual Fiji holiday.
