Wayanad Silver Woods Hotel

I had an amazing stay at this property, which is beautifully surrounded by forest trees. The natural setting is stunning. The staff, especially Ms. Joshna, Ms. Arya, Mr. Bijith, and Mr. Vasant, were incredibly helpful and courteous. The check-in process and other services were seamless. I visited for my wife’s birthday celebration and requested a candlelight dinner. The setup, decoration, and food were absolutely fantastic, making for a memorable and delightful evening. The view from our room was breathtaking. I would suggest adding basic amenities like an iron press and hair dryer in every room. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Thank you to everyone at Silverwoods for making our stay so comfortable and special.

Over all experience was good excellent staff especially jyosthna at the front desk was very helpful and was very courteous. Quality of food and ambience was good . I definitely recommend all my friends and family to visit this place. Must visit place.

Serenity of wooded hills, rustling of leaves, tranquillity of the placid Banasura Sagar Dam are what you experience from the comforts of the luxurious Wayanad Silverwoods Resort. We visited Wayand at the end of March, when summer was just setting in. The resort is elegantly spread over a hill incline with the peaceful Banasura lake on the vista. We were fascinated by its closeness to nature and the subtlety of its world class luxury. Walking into the reception lobby of the resort, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a warm welcome. Check-in formalities were a breeze through, as my wife and kids enjoyed the cool refreshing welcome drink, marvelling at the grand interiors and picturesque surroundings. We were put up at the Ro***tic Villa which had simply blown us away with its luxury & tasteful wood decor. The room opens to a wide balcony overlooking the Banasura lake and houses an open-air Jacuzzi for two. It can’t get grander than this. My kids enjoyed their Jacuzzi while my wife and I gazed out of the balcony into the majestic Banasura hills and lake The resort speaks of class and elegance. Mr Mahesh, the resort ***ager, with his most pleasant demeanour, will ensure that you have every comfort you need and that you are treated the best. Food at Wayanad Silverwoods is lavish. You’ll experience a delectable spread of authentic Kerala cuisine ***** with a beautiful mix of other Indian and Continental varieties Once at Wayanad Silverwoods, one can choose to explore the beautiful district of Wayanad, abundant with forests, wild life, hills, rivers and lakes or you can also choose to spend quality family time in the comforts and luxury of the Silverwoods resort. The best, of course, is to mix it up. We spent some of our lazy afternoons taking a cool dip in the infinity pool, with glimpses of the beautiful Banasura stealing through the green foliage, after which, you can just sit and unwind under the gazebo or experience fish-spa right next to the pool, under the canopy of tall tress. Relax and unwind further at the Ayur Spa where Mr Jayesh will offer the best of Ayurvedic (Kerala) message and therapy. Mr Jayesh, a very experienced and skilled masseur himself, will listen to you carefully and will then curate just the right health & relaxation package for you, catering to your unique needs. My Wife and I both had taken a couple of packages and have found them truly therapeutic, relaxing yet invigorating. The resort had arranged a host of fun activities for us, including an exciting zip-line across a lush tea estate, a visit to the tea-factory & tea-museum and a fascinating trek up ***** a mountain stream flowing down a dense forest. It was truly a wonderful experience for my family and the kids took in every moment to their hearts’ content. Positives: 1) good location. 2) breakfast was quite good. Negatives: 1) no one to help with luggage; the guy was only showing the location and did not offer assistance with luggage. He only carried a kid's bag just for the sake of it. 2) dinner buffet started very late despite the timing given being 7:30 p. M

Property quote expansive and excellent front office reception. However the check in process was delayed saying previous guests checked out late. That was unprofessional. There was no pro active assurance from the team. We had to ask them the status. Food was below average. Kids play area could be kept well. Swimming pool etiquette’s are not followed by other guests like nobody wears synthetic dress even though hotel informed us about the rule. Rooms are not value for the money paid. No toilet rolls and under maintained upholstery and linen are not washed well. Overall i would rate 5/10 for food and 4/10 for value for money.
