I have never left a review in my life but the manager at this hotel truly lacks so much empathy I felt I needed to share. The hotel itself was nice and comfortable - the staff was also kind however the manager lack of empathy and assistance is the worst I have ever seen. We booked rooms for a wedding for April 2024 - with that people in our reservations arrived at different days/times. When someone from our reservation went down to check into our room blocked room she was asked if she wanted to extend her stay instead.. confused she said yes and was charged a full price rate of rooms. With that was asked if she wanted to cancel the reservations the manager saw in her files... why would have her extend her stay if she had her other paid reservations in her file... for the exact same dates, rooms and rates... When she cancelled that it also cancelled my parents reservations. When we arrived to the hotel at 12:30am due to flight delays we were told we had no room. The kind man at the front said they were sold out but called his manager for assistance.. she said over the phone "I am sorry but they will have to figure it out themselves." I understand they couldn't provide a room at that point but the lack of empathy for leaving my senior aged parents on the street in an unfamiliar city at 1am is frustrating in itself. After checking out we noticed we were charged full price instead of our room blocked rate... we have called into the hotel multiple times to resolve the issue told there is nothing that can be done, it was our mistake, or that we will get call backs and never do. I have spent over 3 hours on calls trying to resolve this and the manager is not willing to assist. A manager is a full reflection of a company and in this case she has done nothing to make our experience easier or better and it as been an extreme disappointment.
