Sehr schön gelegen in der Lahnschleife. Kurzer Weg in die Altstadt, die vom imposanten Schloss dominiert wird. Das Zimmer war sauber,der Service zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war vielseitig und üppig. Der Wellnessbereich, vor allem der Pool, hätte mehr Liegen vertragen können. Für das Auto gab es eine kostenfreie Tiefgarage. Uns hat es gefallen und wir können dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Man ist zwar sehr bemüht, aber es hapert ein wenig an den kleinen Dingen: defekte Liegen, ungepflegter Außenbereich, tote Wespen in den Deckenlampen im Restaurant.
Zimmer und Wellnessbereich waren sauber, das Frühstücksbuffet bot viel Abwechslung und gute Qualität.
Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht, aber total unterbesetzt.
Insgesamt für 1-2Nächte okay.

This hotel is 2.5 star at best in North American standards. No Air Conditioning, no bug screens on the windows, spiders and bugs in the rooms all the time, the bathrooms are very small, the rooms are so hot at night you can’t sleep, the hotel is in need of some updating. It’s like it’s stuck in the 80’s. The wifi, like all over Germany, is terrible most of the time you have to disable it and switch to LTE to download anything.
To the Hotels credit the front end staff is friendly, helpful and speaks very good English. The breakfast buffet is included and has a great selection. The parking is free and convenient.

Weilburg an der Lahn ist eine Residenzstadt mit einem besonderen Charme. Das Städtchen wird in einer engen Schleife von der Lahn umflossen. Ein vornehmlich barockes Schloss mit prächtigen Gärten auf mehreren Ebenen prägt das Stadtbild zusammen mit gepflegten Bürgerhäusern und einer barocken evangelischen Saalkirche. Das Hotel „Lahnschleife“ bietet beste Voraussetzungen für die Erkundung dieser schönen Stadt: freundliches Personal, saubere Räume, ein reichliches Frühstücksbüffet und eine abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte. Wobei das tägliche Upgraden zur Halbpension durchaus zu überlegen ist. Das Hallenbad ist sauber und freundlich. Weitere Wellnessangebote sind beachtlich. Die kostenfreie Tiefgarage ist gut zu erreichen, großzügig und hell. Es müssen nicht unbedingt die Zimmer zur Lahnseite sein, die Fenster dämmen den minimalen Straßenlärm gut. Stadt und Hotel laden zur Erkundung dieser beachtlichen hessischen Kulturlandschaft zwischen Westerwald und Taunus ein. Selbst Rad- und Kanufahrer. Das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis stimmt optimal.

Nach mittlerweile 10 Übernachtungen in diesem Hotel habe ich festgestellt, dass sich insg. wenig geändert hat. Es bleibt dabei: Wer ruhig schlafen will, sollte die Zimmer mit Blick zur Lahn nehmen, nicht dass man die Lahn wirklich sieht, aber auf der anderen Seite des Hotels hat man die billigeren, aber auch lauteren Zimmer. Seit meiner ersten Übernachtung von vor über 15 Jahren muss ich leider feststellen, dass das Frühstücksbuffet merklich geschrumpft ist und an Qualität verloren hat, jetzt ist es höchstens Mittelmaß. Das Hotel geht mit der Zeit. Die Kosmetikräume neben der Rezeption sind geschlossen. Dafür stehen in dem sog. Kiosk jetzt die besten e-bikes, quasi als Fahrradgarage, halb unter der Aufsicht der Rezeption. Als Übergangslösung ist das gut, aber wie wär´s mit einem echten, abzuschließenden Fahrradkeller im Tiefgaragenbereich?
