"The location of this hotel leaves a lot to be desired - it’s really not near anything worthwhile. We stayed here because it was organized by the tour company we used for hiking King Ludwig’s Way, not because we thought it was a great place to stay. The rooms were mainly okay, although the phone didn’t work when we tried to call our kids’ room! The food on the restaurant (yes, we decided to eat here) wasn’t bad and the breakfast was okay too. All-in-all this hotel is, well, nothing more than okay!"

"The only really nice thing about this hotel is the setting. When I booked this hotel and looked at all the photos, I had something else in mind than the hotel I ended up at. Do not get tricked by stars, price and photos at booking sites. It might have all been luxurious 50 years ago. Since then nothing much happened. Although we asked for a modern room, we were given a room far from modern. The carpet was stained. The room stinky. The door to the patio old and used. The bathroom with mold on the ceiling and amenities old and broken...The breakfast (so many people mention it in reviews) was good, but do not expect any breakfast service there. Most of the employees walk around like they have started working yesterday and have no clue how to act. One man, on the other hand, runs around so stressed, you start to eat faster and want to leave asap. We reserved a table for the evening at the restaurant. My husband confirmed more than once which table it was...and when we arrived it was already gone. The housekeeping never renewed our coffee supply ("coffee supply" means two coffee tabs). The phone in the room was not working and the front desk was neither surprised nor helpful. As I am writing, I am still sitting here in one of the rooms and cannot believe I pay more than 200 euros for one night. Aaa, did I mentioned cockraches? We already killed two. Of course, we are in nature. But come on! Such. A. Disappointment. I was aiming for special outing with my family, something to spoil ourselves. And here we are, arriving at "spoilt" place."

"30 mins from NeuSchwanstein was a perfect location. The rooms were comfortable but needed updating. The amount of cigarette smoke around the hotel was very uncomfortable - at the front door and people on the balconies of the rooms making the windows being open the same as a smoking room. The town is small but pleasant. Hotel restaurant has generous portions with relaxed and friendly staff. The breakfast is good and offers a range of food that is more than ample."

"The hotel is just completely fine. I was traveling to Penzberg for work, and the hotel was just convenient and practical for my needs. Quick check-in, check-out, quite a few free parking spaces, etc. Note: I didn't spend much time in the hotel, so I don't know how their breakfast is. The only reason they get 1 point less is because in the evening, the entire building smelled like food (and it was not a good smell either), so maybe something to watch out for next time (better airing). 4/5."

"Very nice hotel, which is crazyly friendly conducted! I was welcomed with my (very big) dog super heartily, so much hospitality I have experienced with dog so rarely. Our room was very spacious, beautifully furnished and very clean. The location in the city centre is of course great, you can reach everything walking and there are very great restaurants and cafés nearby. We have to go back to Weilheim in autumn and then we will definitely stay here again!"

"Good hotel for the price. Good hotel with the things that should be. Toilet is not in the room. It doesn't matter when you are alone on the ground floor, because then you have the kitchen and toilet to yourself. Good breakfast. Well located when hiking Luwig-weg. However, there are not many options for dinner in the city. Except the Italian one, which is not recommended."
