The Y on Broadway

My husband and I wanted a quiet spring getaway, and the Y was absolutely perfect! The rooms are renovated, clean, and modern, while the heritage of the historic building is clearly carefully maintained. The staff was very accommodating, and even let us bring our bikes up to our room because it was going to rain overnight. Small touches like free breakfast and coffee until 11, a filtered water bottle refill station, and free water bottles made the stay even more comfortable. There is also a spa in house that I highly recommend!

Our room was tastefully furnished and decorated with a mix of modern, traditional, and rustic. We learned the history of the building--a former YMCA and then a municipal building--and many features of its history remain--including antique furnishings and a working fireplace in the lobby. The staff is very friendly and helpful. One of our best stays anywhere, anytime!

This was a nice place to stay in a great area. The only thing I would say this property needs, is better water pressure in the shower.

We had a sisters trip and it was perfect, our room was adorable and so clean! The beds were super comfy too!! The staff were so welcoming and friendly and always willing to help with anything. The location was perfect to walk anywhere in town and we even had massages at the attached wellness studio. The town itself is so quaint, all the little shops and restaurants. The only thing I would change about the hotel is to offer a place outside to sit. I’m an early riser so I usually read in the mornings, I would have loved a balcony on my room (but I didn’t see that as an option for two queen beds) or even just anywhere accessible on the building would have been nice. I ended up sitting on the front steps of the building which was ok but a chair would have been absolutely perfect! After my morning run I was able to come back for hot coffee and a yummy waffle for breakfast. (Added bonus) 😋 This hotel was perfect 👍 don’t think twice about it book your stay here you won’t regret it.

This is a gem, I stayed on December 24th and the town of Jim Thorpe was magical. (Though I suppose the town is always a little magical.) The Y was totally charming, and done up beautifully for Christmas. Only downside is they didn’t have an in-room coffee machine. But it was great value for money.

Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotel just opened in October. They did an amazing job of combing the old with the new. The hotel is in the center of town and walking distance to everything. The room was huge. Giant walk in shower and double sinks. Bed was comfy. And everything is clean and spotless. Will definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.
