Nice view of the sea from a great balcony. The beach nearby is dirty and it's not really worth spending a lot of time. The gardens are a little small to walk in. Breakfast and service from staff are both good. More like a four star hotel. They helped with luggage which was really nice. The lobby was nice to sit in.

Very fancy hotel lobby. Great sea views. Very good service. Tub is on balcony. Not directly on the water, but a short walk through the front yard. Chinese restaurant only.

I stayed for a night ….. Excellent service from Fay Lee, peaceful, clean environment, beautiful ocean view, small gym to work off the holiday yummies. Very pleasant!

We only stayed one night in this hotel as we were passing through on our way to Wanning, but we had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and spacious. A small plate of fruit was also delivered to the room for free in the evening. The pool is great and is directly opposite the beach. The breakfast was ok. A good selection of both Chinese and Western food. Last year we stayed at a Wyndham hotel in Clear Water, but this one was much better.

Stayed here with friends for a mini staycation and had the best time! We checked in and the staff gave us a complimentary room upgrade to a panoramic sea view room. Staff are great! The balcony overlooks the pool and stretches to the South China Sea. The view is spectacular, especially at sunrise and sunset. Nearby within walking distance is another stretch of Gaolong Bay, that has fresh boat to table seafood and local eats. There are also many attractions within driving distance such as Tonggu Ridge and Soong’s Ancestral Home. The staff are very helpful and the overall environment is quiet and comfortable. At night you can listen to the gentle ocean waves. Another plus is the pool, which was basically empty during the low season.

Nice hotel on the beach, good breakfast, Wenchang chicken well prepared and very tasty in their restaurant. I recommend this hotel and will be back here anytime

I travel to Hainan three times a year by car, and I must stay at the Wenchang Wyndham Garden Hotel for two nights. The hotel is not expensive, but there are few people and the environment is good. You can see the rocket launch and there is a private beach where you can catch crabs. The style of the whole hotel is low-key and meticulous. The room is clean, the air conditioning system is very good, and the service is responsive. Every time I come here, I will not be disappointed. Welcome fruits, freshly cooked goodnight desserts are not less, and ice cubes are given attentively. Even the uncle who parked the car will silently cover you with a sunshade (salute to the uncle, the service is not exaggerated at all, which is touching). So there are two things to do in Wenchang, stay at Wyndham Garden and eat Wangxi Dad Tea!

The hotel's hardware facilities are good, but a little old, but the service is still good. The housekeeper Tingting is very considerate. Check-in was done quickly. She also added WeChat to share travel tips, with locations for each place. This is very friendly. What needs to be improved is that the room smells a bit damp. Everything else is good. The balcony has a good view. The beach is reserved in the off-season to catch crabs. Although they are all sand crabs, they are all very big. The children had a lot of fun.
