Meine Familie war im Rahmen meines 70sten' Geburtstags im Hotel Löwen einquartiert. Ich hatte ein 2-Bettzimmer und ein 3-Bettzimmer 2 Monate im Voraus reserviert und Frau Großmann nannte mir die Preise von 140,00€ und 180,00€ inkl. Frühstück. Nach den Bildern auf der eigenen Website zu urteilen, war das so weit gerade noch ok. Bei der Anreise bzw. Eichecken (! es war Samstagmittag) wurde ausschließlich Barzahlung verlangt - das geht überhaupt nicht !!!. Nach dem wir das Bargeld von der nächsten Bank geholt hatten, wurde uns offenbart, dass das Frühstück am Sonntag nur von 8:00 bis 8:30 Uhr zur Verfügung stehen würde. Man überlege - Sonntag nach einer Feier... - für ein Hotel mit diesen Preisen geht das überhaupt nicht! Wir haben dann das Frühstück abgesagt, bekamen aber keine Erstattung dafür. Für mich ist DIESES Hotel nicht zu empfehlen, selbst ein Stern ist noch zu viel und für die Leistung und dem miesen Service viel zu teuer.

Das ganze Paket war "befriedigend". Der Reservationsprozess telefonisch und E-Mail mässig "korrekt". Ab 21 Uhr Self-Checkin, super-mini TV in der grösse meines Laptops, kein Getränk im Zimmer oder sonnst irgendein Willkommensgruss. Keine Infos zu Parkplätzen, die extra kosten, mässiges Frühstücksbuffet. Highlights waren die sehr freundliche Bedienung beim eher bescheidenen Frühstücksbuffet und die sehr schöne, urige Gaststube. Ich würde wieder hingehen - aber wenn ich eine Alternative hätte...
