The room was so-so, just okay. The service was good, and the shuttle bus stop was right outside – you could easily spend a whole day there. The Binhai Greenway is right outside, with beautiful scenery. A popular cafe is also nearby.

This was the worst hotel we stayed at during this Spring Festival trip, and it's the first time in my 17 years as a Ctrip member that I've given a bad review. We checked in on the first day of the ***** New Year, and everyone was quite happy. The hotel even had a New Year's lucky draw, and my daughter was the first to win a free room voucher (valid for all room types), which was probably the grand prize. Thinking we probably wouldn't come back alone again within a year, we asked if we could extend our stay the next day if there were rooms available, using the voucher instead of the best room type. The manager agreed, but said we'd have to pay an extra 200 yuan for cleaning during the Spring Festival. We agreed (even though the room type had been downgraded). My husband even specifically told the manager to check the room, as we would be arriving late. However, when we arrived the next evening, they assigned us room H6. The underfloor heating wasn't working, the air conditioning was broken, and the bathroom underfloor heating was also broken. Shower water was either ice-cold or scalding hot, making it impossible to shower. I just took a quick rinse, and no one in my family took a shower. It felt like we were sleeping outdoors all night; we were so cold we had to wear sweaters and blankets. We complained to the housekeeper, who said the bathroom underfloor heating was broken, but there were no other rooms available, so he couldn't change it. He fiddled with the room's underfloor heating but couldn't fix it. However, Ctrip still had the room available that day, and it was too late, so we gave up. They still persistently asked for an extra 200 yuan for this room, which was infuriating. The service attitude of this establishment was also very casual, not like that of a proper guesthouse or hotel. They didn't list this room on any platform, probably because they knew there was a problem and just gave it to us for one night. What should have been a good thing turned into a bad one. I was even thinking of staying an extra night for free to spread the word, so this was truly disappointing.

The guesthouse rooms are spacious and clean, perfect for families during peak season! The hotel has a swimming pool, and it's only a 3-minute walk to Pearl Beach, where you can see the sea and hear the waves! If you're driving, you'll need to park at the parking lot at the foot of the mountain, but the guesthouse provides a shuttle bus, which is very convenient! The seawater in Wenling is very clean, and the scenery from the guesthouse is absolutely stunning!

Not all sea-view rooms are like that. Many rooms don't offer any view at all, the hygiene is generally poor, and they feel somewhat dilapidated. It's difficult to plug in electrical outlets. During holidays, there are not enough staff, and there are no parking spaces available. The shuttle bus is not always available either.

We arrived quite late, but the butler waited patiently for us and his service attitude was absolutely first-rate. The geographical location is also good. You can reach the Duijie Viewing Platform by driving through the Diaobang Tunnel. It is not far from the Qicai Fishing Village. Anyway, the weather was good this time, and everything seemed ok, except for the shower water in the room. When it was set to hot, it was very hot, and when it was set to cold, it was a little cold. I hope it can be improved.

The mountainside stone villas are beautifully situated, with small courtyards, pebble paths, and lush greenery everywhere – so lovely. The facilities are excellent; during the day, you can swim in the infinity pool with stunning ocean views. In the evenings, you can enjoy karaoke and play pool at the bar – so relaxing! Unfortunately, a typhoon caused the scenic area to close, so we couldn't go down to Pearl Beach, which is so close by… However, this didn't diminish the hotel's overall beauty.

I woke up suddenly in the middle of the night to find a small spider! My hands were also bitten by several mosquitoes! The equipment in the room was broken, making for a terrible experience.
