Hotel has been recently refurbished and you can tell. Modern comfortable rooms, plenty of space. Only stayed for one.l night as a family and the kids loved it. 24/7 contact details should you have any issues. Breakfast was great and very reasonable.

We stayed in the hotel. The newly refurbished room was spotless, warm & cosy. The bed was super comfy we slept really well. All the staff in the bar & restaurant were really friendly. We couldn’t fault our stay. We ate in the restaurant and had a wonderful meal, again nothing to fault only to praise. We would definitely recommend the Rockingham Arms & stay again when we are visiting family & friends

Had an afternoon tea as a Mother's Day present. Such a lovely cosy and warm setting on a cold day. The food was beautiful with lots of choice and very reasonably priced. All fresh and plentiful which meant we had some to take home too. Was served by Andy, who was very friendly, professional and attentive. Would definitely recommend a visit here all staff seemed nice, enjoying their jobs and a credit to the Wentworth Arms. Can't wait to visit again. Thank you.

Didn't stay over night but I'm going to went to restaurant staff was brilliant food was rally good definitely going to go again but want to stay overnight because the atmosphere was was so welcoming and relaxed thank you everyone for a lovley experience

A wonderful warm and friendly stay at the Rockingham Arms. We had a superb Sunday Roast Beef lunch - the service and food were excellent. We stayed overnight in one of the newly refurbished rooms; very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was also very good. All of the Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly but a special mention to the lovely Becky serving behind the bar in the evening - she was most entertaining! We would highly recommend a stay here or, at least, a Sunday lunch.

Just eaten a lovely meal at the Rockingham Arms. We were greeted by a very polite young lady who took us down to the restaurant. Such a beautifully decorated room. The waiting staff were all so friendly. Both our meals were piping hot and delicious. My chips were the best ever! We both had an Eton Mess for dessert- scrummy! Thank you everyone

The staff were lovely. However 3 beds when there were 4 of us. Noisy road although this can’t be helped.
Needs updating decor wise. Most annoying thing, the remote for the tv didn’t work, had to turn on at the wall, stuck on channel 4 so we could only watch one Chanel. WiFi was not existent . Wasn’t too expensive so we coped. If WiFi worked and Tv worked probably would have been ok .

Stayed in room 8. Twin beds were far more comfortable than than the double in room 5. Room was also cleaner. However we hardly slept due to an awful mechanical sound screaching from behind a "private" door on the landing that also eched down the pipework into our shower/toilet room. We complained the following morning to the assistant manager who assured us we would get a full refund for the night. It has yet to materialise.
Pub restaurant food has a wide choice. Would consider staying again but only after it's scheduled refurb has been completed
