Tri Terrace Motel

The room smelled like stale cigarettes. The sheets and shower liner were stained. There were a variety of bugs in the room and the door locking mechanism was faulty. We actually left and slept at a rest area.

Property was older, out-dated. The bed was unsteady and the room could use updates. The staff was fantastic, room was clean and location was great/close to all the amenities of the town.

I really wanted to like this place. The lady at check in was amazing, very personable. The room was pretty dated, that's understandable considering the low prices that they charge. I had two issues with the room, as I opened the curtains there was a huge cobweb in the corner of the room. As i looked , all corners had good sized cobwebs. Not a big deal but also not a good impression. The bigger issue was that as i checked the mattress for any signs of bed bugs I noticed huge stain and no mattress protector or mattress pad. So the only thing separating me from this huge stain was one thin sheet, gross. We went to Walmart and bought a cheap blanket to cover the sheets And slept on that. It looked like they were trying because i noticed new carpet and fresh paint but they still have a ways to go. The property is beautiful and they had a fire both nights which was a nice touch. For some reason I liked this place, I would rather give my money to a mom & pop any day. I'm not saying don't stay here but you might want to bring an extra blanket to cover the bed.

I never stayed there. I was contacted at 5 p.m. the day of the stay( and it was a Friday). The staff person said my room was flooded and there were no more rooms available. I was lucky to find another room at the last minute at another place in another town. The next day I was told by a resident of West Branch that I dodged a bullet by not staying at the Tri Terrace. He said they have “ sketchy” people staying there, some on monthly terms.

I chose this motel due to affordability however, for me, it was like stepping back to the past. The way it sets is almost like being in the woods even though its on a major road. They don't have key cards they have a good old fashioned key with the room number on it so to me, that was cool. The yard and pond look exactly like the pictures and would be a nice place to sit at night. Now for the room, understand I am not complaining cause I loved it but for you, the bathroom door didn't fully close, sgower curtain in the bathroom needs changing and there were some small cob webs in the corners, for me, I found everything nastalgic so it didn't bother me at all. Oh and my husband absalutely loved the lady in the office lol

Quiet The motel is very quaint and quiet, but had very old furniture, bedspread, and a/c unit. It seemed clean but there was an unpleasant odor and I couldn't figure out how to open the very old wooden window (maybe my fault). It was ok. Not terrible but not great. A typical old "up north" motel! I never saw a person for check-in or check out. They left me the key, and I had to drop it off in a box at 9am the next morning because there still wasn't anyone in the office.
