This is just based on my check-in experience. I spend 100 nights a year in Marriott properties, so I get plenty of opportunities to observe front desk staff. Marlanea at this property was phenomenal. As I approached the desk, she got an ice cold water for me, saying, Welcome! You made it. Everybody can use a nice cold bottle of water.” How sweet was that? When I gave her my ID, she said “Oh we’ve been expecting you. I know you’re speaking for us tomorrow, and the room is all set. But they will be ready for you to go over any changes at 7 AM. She know who I was, greeted me, and wanted me to be successful. Oh, that every front desk person would be as kind.
