Beautiful boutique hotel. We stayed in The Gregory and loved it. Clean, quiet, and spacious layout with vintage touches. The staff were wonderful and helpful, too. Highly recommended.

The Charlie Hotel is beautiful and unique. Surrounded by charming, lush gardens, the perfectly maintained historic structures that house a group of fascinating, tasteful and comfortable rooms and suites are impressibly cared for. We appreciated the location: a quiet, residential section of West Hollywood that’s walking distance to many restaurants, bars and shops, and only a block from the historic Schindler House museum. Super special and tranquil, the Charlie Hotel is my WeHo favorite.

Charlie is located on a very pretty, quiet street within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. The gardens are lovely and the staff very helpful. Each cottage appears to be unique, each with somewhat different amenities. For example ours did not have a dinning table to eat on and the the kitchen utensils were somewhat limited. Be aware, there is 20% non refundable deposit required which is problematic for us as we travel 24 hours from Europe and anything could happen forcing us to delay or cancel our ttrip.

The Charlie is absolutely charming! Quiet, serene, beautiful and totally comfortable with the nicest staff! During our stay, we were upgraded to a beautiful suite (the Marlene) and loved every minute we spent in this lovely, well-appointed 1920’s bungalow!

Unusual place to stay, very nice and well equipped. A bit smaller than advertised and not cheap, but we had a good stay and would consider returning.

Absolutely loved our stay in the Oscar room. We searched for an accommodation in LA for a very long time and were grateful to find The Charlie. The property itself was magic, felt very secure (a big factor in our decision making) and was in a great location. The team were so lovely & assisted us however they could. We were so sad to leave and cannot wait to come back one day.

The Charlie Hotel is a perfect hidden gem in the middle of L.A! You feel like you’ve arrived in a small English village rather than downtown anywhere. Location is central to everything. You can walk to Melrose, Santa Monica Blvd etc. Great for shopping, dining etc. Staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Cottages are beautiful, clean and well stocked with everything you can possibly need. Bed was super comfy too. I will definitely book again!

Totally fell in love with this place. Upon entering you are swept away into a retreat in the heart of WeHo. The location is outstanding. So easy to walk to restaurants and bars and wine bars. Staff were super helpful, room was outstanding. This is a must see, I would be back in a heartbeat.
