The whole stay was great, I needed somewhere to stay while work was being carried out on my house. The rooms are spacious and have bathtubs, there was a big desk for me to work at and the internet connection was perfect, I had multiple video conferences and it never dropped once. Housekeeping were kind enough to check if I needed anything everyday, and reception staff were super friendly.
Right next to a massive national trust property had some beautiful autumn walks
However there is absolutely no phone signal (Vodafone)obviously nothing to do with the hotel it’s just extra info about the area!

Great location as it’s so close to the park with lots of potential to be great hotel. However, the decor is awful, food and service terrible and there’s definitely a lack of general cleanliness. In need of a refurb and new staff.

The hotel staff was so polite and helpful, the hotel room was spotless, the room was very spacious and perfect temperature. The bed was amazingly comfortable! It catered for all of our needs especially with a fan because myself has troubles sleeping without one.
The hotel was in the perfect location and easy to access on route to next location.
The Wi-Fi was a little disappointing with myself needing to check work emails and service but nothing that caused to much hassle on our stay at the hotel
Will definitely be booking the hotel again

The stay was okay, just needed a place to stay whilst we visited a local wedding venue for an evening out.
The hotel was very tired and definitely needs a lot of work. The reception is done nicely but as soon as you go towards the rooms the carpet is old and the paint on the walls is peeling.
Our first room had a broken window, letting lots of cold air in. They were good and quick getting us a new room.
The second room was better but clearly cleaned by someone different - this one had bottles of water where the last one didn't for example.
The radiator wouldn't turn off so the room got very hot in the night even with an open window.
The bed was very hard with old flat pillows.
Shower had good water pressure though and toiletries are left for you.

We stayed from the 31 May 2024 and checked out on the 2nd June 2024, it was a spa break to celebrate my mothers 86th Birthday. I have mixed views about our stay, we were moved from a first floor room to a ground floor room because my mother struggled with the stairs and the lift was not working. Our meal on Friday was enjoyed by everyone, ~Saturday was a nightmare we had family join us at the hotel for a birth day meal. We sat down at 8.05 PM and didn't get our main meal until 9.30 PM, too many complaints to mention, we were offered a discount as compensation. The Spa was very dated and could do with a jolly good clean and refurbishment. I would not go back or recommend it to family or friends.

Booked for Sunday lunch. Meeting our closest friends. Both couples travelled over 60 miles only to be told that the restaurant was closed!! Staff member said the hotel had tried to contact us. I can confirm there gad been no contact from the hotel. Won't be going back there! Terrible service without a real apology! Luckily we found somewhere nearby for a meal but no thanks to Clumber Park Hotel!!
