Belhuish Farmhouse

Absolutely amazing stay in a gorgeous setting. I can't recommend the Belhuish Farmhouse enough! The location is perfect for many attractions and helps add a relaxing setting to any trip. 100% will be recommending to any friends and family that we have coming out this way.

Such a great farmhouse. Stayed for two nights for a friend's wedding nearby. Having breakfast cooked for us each morning was really lovely. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

The owner Rod is a very knowledgeable gentleman. We learned quite a bit of local history.

This is not the place to stay if you prefer standard, anodyne but perfect hotel rooms. If you're still reading, this is an old, classically furnished farmhouse with plenty of character, set on a downhill track not far from Lulworth, and surrounded by walks (we saw only the tractors harvesting). We really enjoyed our stay, had long chats in the kitchen with Rod, the owner, who has a wealth of stories to tell, and, lucky with the weather, enjoyed time in the peaceful garden. Rod is a one off with wonderful tales of Thatching and garlic/onion selling in the area. Perfect for walkers, cyclists (if you don't mind hills), nature lovers. Tips.. Bring toiletries Great food and service at the Ship in Wool For something more special The Sailors Return in a very secluded but scenic spot was excellent!

A two night relaxing stay in a beautiful location. The cottage had a wonderful feel and had everything we needed. Lots to see locally, the cottage was a great base. We are already planning our next visit. Rod, you were a wonderful host! We highly recommend the walk to Lulworth from the cottage, it’s worth it!

Good location, close to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. Our host was great, he made us English breakfast every morning using local ingredients. Told us about the local area and places to eat for dinner. The room was as described and it was everything we needed. We would differently go back again

We had a great stay at Belhuish Farmhouse. The location was perfect for exploring the Jurassic Coast. The historic farmhouse was in a beautiful setting and we really enjoyed chatting with the owner and learning about the local area over our (delicious) breakfasts! One extra perk was the great water pressure in the shower after a big hike :-)
