Mackay Motor Inn

My daughter had a long term stay while on placement at the Base Hospital. She felt safe and loved her room which was fully self contained, clean and serviced weekly. Naomi went out of her way to make her feel at home and even offered her personal bike should she ever need it. The motel was within walking distance to the IGA, a local gym, the botanical gardens, great coffee shops and Parkrun. Thank you for her wonderful stay.

I represent a group of golfers who stayed at Mackay Motor Inn early March 2023. We used 12 rooms and found that they were very clean, spacious and a joy to stay there. The management team went out of their way to assist us even going so far as buying extra chairs to put around the pool area so we could have our "happy hour" and daily presentations. WE all agree that next time we come to Mackay for a golf trip we'll definitely stay at the wonderful Mackay Motor Inn. Thank you Naomi and her team

Here you’ll find everything that you expect and need after a long road trip. Check in is super friendly and fuss-less, and then to be greeted by a spotless room - what bliss! Definitely on our list of fixed stays from now on when in the region!

I don’t know why this place has good reviews our room number 9 was disgusting first thing I smelt was the toilet like a sewage back up, no fire alarm (missing) 🙄 dirty bathroom dust mould etc, says on the sign outside newly refurbished rooms are you serious this rooms hasn’t been done thanks for putting us in a disgusting room won’t stay again on a good note bed was ok even thought there were a few odd hairs not ours 🥴avoid this place

Will definitely stay here again, everything for the price is excellent, lovely staff and owners. Close to everything and very clean rooms , all of my expectations are fully met. Close to Botanical gardens which are excellent for a morning walk
