Baymont by Wyndham West Plains

First time staying at this location. Stayed in a pet room, as there were 2 pups traveling with us. The room was clean and the beds comfortable and the shower was one of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. As far as the room goes the only negative for us was the height of the toilet. It was very low, so having bad knees it made it hard to sit and get up. The staff was friendly, but it seemed they may have been understaffed. We had the complementary breakfast the first morning, but it left much to be desired. The eggs were cold and their sausage was not refilled. They had also ran out of milk and we were not a fan of the coffee. So the next two days we had coffee elsewhere. All and all I would still recommend this location and will stay there again when we’re in the area.

The front desk was very friendly and helpful upon entering. The hotel smelled great as we walked down the corridor. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything was clean and nice, but we specifically booked it for hot tub and pool and they were not available.

Advertisement shows pool, however it is closed during the winter season. Wish I would have been aware. Otherwise it was clean & comfortable!

The staff was nice but didn’t know what they were doing with room keys . For the first 4/5 days we had to go to the front desk every day to have our keys reprogrammed . After 2 other people resetting our keys the 5th night a different person was there and said they most likely didn’t do the correct amount of days on the keys . How is it 2 other people that run the desk didn’t know that?! We had to move rooms because the fridge got unplugged and defrosted all over the floor ( floors are vinyl not carpet -odd) . The shower curtain would not close properly because the rod was broken causing us to soak the floor every time the shower was used and the shower would make a high pitch noise the entire time while in use . The beds were as hard as the floor ! We barely slept at all due to them being so uncomfortably hard . The walls are super thin , dogs were barking all night . Their other exit door was broken the whole time there so you had to walk through the front / main entrance even though our room was near the other door . Phones were unplugged , microwave was missing a leg and sounded awful . Housekeeping never swept the whole time we were there and so you would have stuff all over your feet if you dare took your shoes off . Holes in drywall and caked over fixes that looked awful . Very unsatisfied as I knew this property when it was the holiday inn at one point and it was once great . Has gone downhill significantly!

Good location and parking. Very comfortable bed for a good night sleep. Great shower. Good hot breakfast. Price was reasonable. We would stay here again when traveling through.

Outstanding staff very friendly and helpful. We forgot a charger block and they provided one for the night. The room was above standard very clean and comfortable. This was are second stay at this location in West Plains and will stay there again when in town. No only was the room clean but the hotel overall was clean. The dining room area was exceptionally clean as was the lobby. The grounds are very well kept and nicely landscaped.
