This hotel offers one of the best experiences all around from the stay, the staff and food provided! Gus runs a tight ship and ensures that he himself and his staff puts their best foot forward everyday! I stayed here for over four months and never had a problem that couldn’t be solved immediately and very rarely had an issue period. Ms. Troy is another that made my stay enjoyable with our daily breakfast conversations, she does her best to make each guest fill welcomed as they come down for breakfast. The cleaning ladies are very adamant about keeping the hotel constantly in its best shape possible consistent in cleaning. The front desk staff as well ensure to be available at all times to greet you coming or going. Best stay in LA!

My company had reserved the conference room and paid extra for the audio/visual package. When we arrived, the only AV equipment was a TV with no remote. The projector had no cables to connect it to the TV...which didn't matter since we didn't have the remote to change the input settings. I called the manager, Dennis Quinn, but he was absolutely no help. He blamed it on my boss, saying that we agreed to bring the equipment ourselves. This was a blatant lie since we agreed to pay extra to use their equipment. The rooms are not maintained well. Electrical switches didn't work, outlet covers were broken and cracked. I had mold in my shower while my manager found a box of condoms in his night stand. Thankfully the La Quinta nearby had a conference room available as well as rooms for our employees. We moved there and were very pleased. One note...the front desk (Maxine???) and maintenance personnel worked tirelessly to fix the situation, but their manager set them up for failure by not providing them with the tools they needed.

When I arrived at the hotel no one was at the front desk and I waited about 10 minutes for someone to help me. I had reserved 2 rooms for May 1, one night. Room #1 was booked as ”2 Queen Standard Comm Access Roll Shwr” for a disabled person. Room #2 was reserved as ”1 King Bed Suite”. After checking in mid-afternoon we arrived at our rooms to find they were not what we reserved. Going to the desk I was told by the clerk that room #1 type ”2 Queen Standard Comm Access Roll Shwr” didn't exist, they had no handicapped rooms available, but they had a non-handicapped room with no roll in shower and 2 queen beds. Room #2 was reserved as ”1 King Bed Suite” and they were able to find one for me. Why would H.I. allow me to book a handicapped room described as ”2 Queen Standard Comm Access Roll Shwr” if that room did not exist? In my room I attempted to log onto the network but found the Wi-Fi was not working. I again went to the front desk where the clerk confirmed that the Wi-Fi was not working and had been out all day. Period. She didn't volunteer to do anything about it. Obviously no one had done anything about it. After some prodding from me she called the hotel manager who told her to consult the procedure manual for what to do. Opening her manual she found that she should call tech support. Period. After some more prodding she called tech support who said they would ”work on it.” This is inexcusable as action should have been taken as soon as it was found the Wi-Fi was down that morning. It was apparent the clerk did not want to be bothered. The Wi-Fi did come back some time later but the bandwidth was extremely low. The hotel itself appeared to be somewhat neglected in comparison to other H.I hotels I've frequented, as if the management was looking for the cheapest way to maintain it (cheap facial tissues, cheap toilet tissue, half-hearted cleaning of common spaces, etc.). The employees were not all that friendly. The only reason they get at least one star from me is because the breakfast was good. I definitely will not stay at this particular hotel in the future.
