Ich habe drei Tage im HSH verbracht und kann nur in den höchsten Tönen vom Hotel schwärmen. Angefangen vom Hotel Shuttle Service vom Bahnhof Westerland über das Frühstück, Bar bis hin zu den Betten. Dieses private Hotel ist eine Institution die sich abhebt von modernen Hotelketten und für ein Publikum ideal, die wert auf stilvolle und gehobene Einrichtung mit britischem Charme legt. Die Speisen sind wunderbar und von hervorragender Qualität und der Service ist mehr als Aufmerksam. Hier merkt man klar dass das Servicepersonal gut geschult worden ist und sich bei seinem Arbeitsplatz wohlfühlt. Ich kann Ihnen das Hotel sehr empfehlen. Ich hätte als einzigen Verbesserungsvorschlag dass es toll wäre, wenn auf den Zimmern anstelle von linearem TV auch Apple-TV verfügbar wäre.

Ein schönes Hotel mit geräumigen Zimmern im Herzen von Westerland gelegen. Der Service hat jedoch eklatante Schwächen. So schließt die Küche bereits um 21:00 Uhr. Wenn man lange einen schönen Frühlingstag mit seinem Sonnenuntergang genießt dann steht man wie wir vor der Situation, dass es trotz der vier Speisemöglichkeiten im Restaurant, im Bistro, in der Bar und auf dem Zimmer keil Angebot mehr gibt, das man nutzen könnte. Dies setzt sich am Morgen fort. Es wurden uns als Frühstückszeit für einen Sonntagmorgen die Slots 6:30 bis 8:00 Uhr und dann wieder ab 10:00 und 11:00 Uhr angeboten. Dies zeigt, dass die Optimierung der internen Abläufe des Hotels in Bezug auf Öffnungszeiten des Restaurants sowie die Ausplanung der Frühstückskapazitäten Vorrang vor den Bedürfnissen der zahlenden Kundschaft haben. Dies ist einem 5 Sterne Hotel bzw. einem Betrieb der dieses Ziel für sich in Anspruch nimmt, nicht würdig. Da gibt es mit dem Stricker, dem Hotel Jörg Müller und selbst mit dem Fitschen am Dorfteich bessere und in zwei von drei Fällen auch günstigere Varianten.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und sehr sauber. Die Suiten sind wunderbar und bieten sehr viel Platz und Gemütlichkeit. Das Bett ist perfekt. Das Bad ist sehr gross und bietet eine Badewanne und eine Dusche. Das separate WC dürfte bei diesem Standard eine Lüftung vertragen. Das Bistro, wie auch die Bar sind sehr gemütlich und bieten eine gute Vielfalt an Speisen und Getränke. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und jederzeit zur Verfügung. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

I drop one star from my rating due to these things: - Location: Not good. Maybe some people like Westerland, but I don't. It's much, much better, nicer, classier, Kampen or Keitum. Westerland is not an upscale village/neighborhood. Is it not fancy at all. I was expecting that maybe it's why I was disappointed with the location. - Views: I am not sure if there is any room with a good view (I don't think so considering the hotel's location). But, my room has terrible views. - Sauna, Spa: Just average from what I've seen in other similar hotels/spas in Germany. - Gym: Average. Nice but too small and limited. Now the good things: - My room was very big with a nice decor. Super big bathroom which I love and super clean. The towels were another downside. Not luxury hotel towels level. - The hotel in general, the social living rooms, the corridors are super cozy and nicely decorated. - I didn't eat breakfast so can't say anything about it. - Service ok, not outstanding.
