It can't get any worse! If you want to live in the basement on Sylt, you should go there. The prices are completely unjustified. A few slices of cheese for breakfast. Severe headaches from the scent system. The staff are so unfriendly. Customer service is not a priority here. Animals are everywhere in my room. The room was cleaned by bad staff. I was missing €50.

We had booked the Hotel Mimosa on Sylt for the Biikebrennen. Unfortunately, we then had to cancel a room. As the process on the web was not entirely clear, the entire booking was cancelled. When I asked the hotel to confirm 3 rooms instead of 4 at the old price, I was supposed to pay the same price as before for 4 rooms. The hotel was unable to accommodate me, although this was an error on the web portal. I therefore find the customer friendliness more than poor. I can't say much about the hotel, but I wouldn't want to book in a hotel that treats its guests like that.

Nachdem ich wegen des Bahnstreiks versucht hatte, kostenfrei zu stornieren, sich das Hotelmanagement allerdings nicht darauf eingelassen hat, habe ich ******* mitgeteilt, dass ich die Buchung dann doch wahrnehme. Dies ist aber angeblich dem Hotel nicht mitgeteilt worden... Sodann funktionierte kein Heizkörper im Zimmer, was ich bereits Freitag spätnachmittags mitgeteilt hatte. Bei Rückkehr funktionierte sie immer noch nicht. Erst als wir dies am nächsten Morgen erneut moniert haben, teilte man uns mit, dass im gesamten Hotel die Heizung ausgefallen sei. Man sei bereit, uns einen Heizlüfter ins Zimmer zu stellen. Das ist dann auch passiert. Aber die Heizung war bis Sonntag nicht funktionsfähig, warum auch immer…

Lage sehr zentral, Service freundlich und zuvorkommend, Preise für Sylt erträglich Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Zimmer klein, Bad sehr klein, Schlafkomfort ok, Sauberkeit ok, Frühstück coronabedingt zeitlich (und sicher auch umfänglich) eingeschränkt Resümee: ein durchschnittliches Haus - für kurze Aufenthalte und Reisende ohne übertriebenen Anforderungen durchaus empfehlenswert
