Ramada by Wyndham Westlock

Good room and spacious. The bathroom is a bit small. Everything is clean and delicious breakfast. However, way excessive use of plastic ( plastic cover on each single use cup!).

Nice hotel and friendly staff, a special thanks to Cassandra for your service and understanding this makes a big difference and will bring people back to stay at this hotel in Westlock Alberta. I'll be back at this hotel for sure next time, so until then.

I was greeted well and with the Saturday night staff, set us up quick and we were good to go. Problem came from zero tv service, kids running up and down the hall (playing hall hockey even) and in the morning when I went to check out and let the front desk know about the tv… no one was there after 4 rings. I just dropped the keys on the desk and walked away. Wasn’t impressed since it was very busy in the morning…

Very nice hotel for a smaller town. Has everything you need right in the hotel. Housekeeping was always thorough and the place was very clean. The pool was nice when open and working. Didn’t use the gym but it seemed nice. The breakfast was okay with a wide assortment. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and quick to resolve any issues. Checkin and checkout was easy with no concerns. The heat/AC works great and the room was comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here if staying in Westlock! Slight cons: -The pool is open from 8AM-10PM but was closed for maintenance most mornings until around 10AM. Would rather them post the opening time as 10 then and do the maintenance when closed. The hot tub was also not working for several days of my stay but was eventually fixed. -The hotel is a bit dated. The outside doors don’t seal well and the card for my outside door wouldn’t work at all. Front desk staff tried reconfiguring it but it never worked. The keys also deactivate quite easily and frequently- this was probably the most annoying part of my stay -The breakfast: the juice machine was out of order my first whole stay, but fixed the next time. Selection was pretty good though with yogurt, muffins, pastries, eggs, hashbrowns and bacon/sausage alternating. -Also, several times I left the little “please change the linens” card on the bed and the sheets weren’t changed, just the bed remade. I’m not sure they actually changed the linen the whole time I was there, which is disappointing when they specifically have that card. -Twice now I’ve had the mini fridge either keep nothing cold or freeze right up and freeze everything in it solid. They also leak a lot and pool water underneath. Still usable, but a bit of a pain. All in all a great little place in town without having to stay in the city!
