Hotel was conveniently located for what we needed it for. Although the room was modern and spacious the dusting of fixtures and fittings left a lot to be desired and it was clear that lampshades etc were thick with dust. Not good for us suffering with allergies.

The hotel is good, we were a bit out of season, but for a large family event it fitted our purpose well. I write a review because of the exceptional staff. I would particularly highlight the head of the reception team. She went above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcome and ensure all went well.

Nice hotel, good value for money for our two night stay, decent evening meal not too expensive & a great breakfast but very expensive at the bar.
The hotel could definitely do with a lick of paint to the rooms & it’s exterior as it looks a bit downtrodden on first appearance but overall nice stay with lots of lovely friendly staff.

Small rooms, TV didn't work, kettle didn't work. Noisy, no hot water. Contacted re GF issues, quick response. However nothing filtered through so ended up ill. Parking good. Staff friendly but ineffectual. Breakfast watered down juice, waiting for plates. Pretty setting but lets itself down.

We stayed for 1 night for a Valentine’s offer which included the room, 3 course dinner, breakfast, afternoon tea and a complementary access to the Follies. Our experience was wonderful, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, dinner and breakfast were very good, but were surpassed by the afternoon tea which was excellent. The room was also very nice, I would suggest this is more 4 Star in reality, despite a current 3 Star rating. We look forward to returning.

Stayed overnight on our way back from a holiday abroad. The hotel was beautifully kept and the staff worked hard to make it a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Staff we encountered were excellent. Nice breakfast and comfortable room.
The bedroom had single glazed windows, so lots of internal condensation in the morning. The bed was very large and comfortable, the room was warm during our November stay.

Good enough place to stay to visit the follies, play some golf and get around easily.
They could do with some shampoo and body lotion for female clients.
Dinner is good, and some of their staff was excellent!
