everything ok at this hotel except we had a room by a firedoor. We 'enjoyed' noise and lack of sleep both late into the night and very early in the morning 5am, and we are not light sleepers. The firedoor made noises through the night, people stopped by the firedoor and had conversations we could hear every word. We regularly stay at Premiers and this was the first time we experienced this, awful, glad to get back home.

Booked this trip due to location to my Daughters home The hotel was clean with all facilities necessary There was a lack of information given in check in re:breakfast times etc Bear in mind there is no customer lift and room cleaning only on request but this suited us The bar closing times are early so worth checking if you want a night cap! On the whole staff were pleasent and helpful Would stay again

First time I have ever visited Premier Inn, so having seen Lenny Henry rave about these places for years, I decided to give this venue a try. I would say not as good as a Holiday Inn but better than a Travelodge. Our room was tired but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also tired with a cracked sink. We were a couple however there was only one bath towel. When I looked for an internal phone to phone reception there wasn’t one and had to use my own mobile. When I got through to the staff the lady asked me “ Oh so you want another towel then? “ Well that was the reason for my call, usually after a shower it’s nice to use a dry towel. So overall the room was average.

I stayed in this hotel the day before I was due to provide some training the following day for work. I like to stay in Premier Inns where I can as I like how comfortable they are and the breakfasts are usually good. This particular hotel stood out for me because the young lad on reception was exceptionally friendly and it was lovely to be greeted by someone so positive and cheerful after a long three-hour drive!

Guests in room above us stomped around all night. Complained twice and they still carried on. Didn’t get any sleep at all. Premier inn have done nothing to solve this. Ants in room as bedroom window of ground floor was left open. We closed window to warm room up while we went for food and when we came back the room was smelly so no wonder window had been left open. Couldn’t complain as had previously been told hotel was fully booked.

Room needs upgrading. Very tired and grubby appearance. Turned on bathroom fan, and showered in dirt particles into the bathroom basin, ,floor, shower etc. Reported this. Restaurant very poor, especially at breakfast time. Food available was limited, cold and not topped up. I asked the Manager twice re ingredients in certain items, as we have allergies to consider. No information or response forthcoming. I also spoke to him about his attitude, and he just shrugged with no interest whatsoever in the fact that allergies can have serious consequences. Allergens are important for customers.

We stayed here the night before my 6.15am flight from Bristol Airport and it was perfect. My wife was able to drop me at the airport and return to the hotel and go back to bed. The hotels check out time is 12.00 noon. There’s no air conditioning in the room and there are no lifts (but it is only 2 floors) and neither of these were an issue for us, and it is stated on their webpage. There’s only one USB on one side of the bed (there is a plug socket the other side though) so be aware if you have two phones. Considering the room was on the ‘business’ floor, there was a lack of plug sockets generally. The staff, were professional, polite and friendly and I would definitely stay here again if in the area.
