I personally love this place due to its quiet location. It has all you need if you want to stay onsite for your stay, entertainment, bar, etc, But lots of other places to go & explore providing you have a car. Food is ok but as we have a car can travel to choose loads of other restaurants, take aways that are around Sand bay & Weston Super Mare to eat. The rooms are comfortable, clean & sufficient. Excellent base for the lovely surrounding area. Very reasonably priced.

Seeing some of the reviews I was a bit apprehensive as what to expect and for the money. I have NOT one complaint. The staff were very friendly and helpful (nothing was to much trouble), the food was lovely with a good choice and you could have as much as you wanted. The chalet looked like it had a new bathroom, nice/clean and warm. The entertainment was fab (80's week). Would definitely return.

Apart from clean bedding the chalet was dirty it looked like it had not been cleaned for weeks. Cobwebs and dirt in the corners. Curtains hanging off and dusty. Considering it was the start of the season it was awful. It needed a good paint and refurbishment. The best part was the kitchen and waiting staff they were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Evening entertainment was good. The reception staff were very rude. Would not go back.

Again people who believe they are more important than others reserving tables at the front next to the stage as always happens even though signs everywhere saying you are not allowed to. The pathetic management just let them so everyone else who obeys the rules ends up not even able to get a table avoid this awful place until someone decides to get this place running properly.

Arrived earlier than expected but went to reception to ask if accommodation was ready only to be told by ‘grumpy old granny’ .. “2pm if club or 4pm if basic!” . Fair enough so decided to ‘explore’ for 30 minutes. Looked in the lounge to be met by 2 half done jigsaw puzzles and an old lady asleep. Fancied a nibble so went to the vending machine which contained one Mars bar and 2 Dairy Milk bars which looked like they may have been there for several years. Yay it’s 2pm so back to reception to collect keys .. quick process .. give them your surname and they hand you an envelope … no explanation as to where your accommodation actually is, fortunately it’s such a small camp that we found it within 2 minutes. We paid extra for club class - chalet tired and dated but bed made up, free bottle of wine waiting plus vouchers for a free newspaper each morning .. quite a novelty as haven’t bought a newspaper this century. Bag containing tea, coffee, milk and sugar with a note that was to last us 3 days and if we wanted more we’d have to pay £1 for another bag … no danger of that as was possibly the worst tasting tea and coffee ever! Hungry so looking forward to dinner at 5pm. It’s like being back at school as you queue up to get your cutlery and tray and then help yourself. I had chilli (think they forgot to add any spice) and hubby had the cod which was very overcooked. Dessert was gateau or tinned peaches and cream which really you can’t go wrong with. Bad design as you have to walk through the queue to get your hot drinks which is an accident waiting to happen. Decided to go to the games room afterwards… 2 dart boards, 2 table tennis tables and 2 snooker tables plus a completely empty vending machine. Then it’s evening entertainment - bar prices reasonable and each evening bingo, disco and a live act. Live acts were ok and on the last evening Badness (a Madness tribute act) were fantastic. Advised before we booked that swimming pool was out of order, we don’t swim so not an issue, but why wasn’t it sorted before start of season? Orange juice was unavailable at breakfast .. why? Vending machines empty … how difficult to fill them when you know you have several hundred guests arriving? Crazy golf .. impossible to play because grass hasn’t been cut. Wondering if they’re planning to close camp down as looks like there’s been zero investment for decades. Finally if you’re under 75 you’ll be in the minority … you’ll never see so many walking sticks and mobility scooters in such a small area … we named it The Coffins Dodgers Club and the lounge God’s Waiting Room!

Clean and basic. Dining was like being back in the school canteen. Entertainment was good - had booked onto a line dancing weekend. It was cold at times and would put heating on in room only to find that it would be turned off. Nice walk along the sea front to get some fresh air and the open top bus runs every hour which takes you into Weston
