As ever our stay at the Hare & Hounds was everything it should be - rooms were beautifully clean, reception incredibly helpful , food amazing - our regular go to in the Cotswolds

What a fabulous one night stay for our first wedding anniversary. The Magnolia suite was gorgeous and hot tub a bonus. All staff were excellent and the service was top class. Lovely evening meal and impeccable breakfast too. Thank you 😊 we will be back

Firstly I would like to congratulate all the waiting staff for an exceptional service we received yesterday during our lunch. From our cosy seating area to the bar waiter who demonstrated how to make the rabbit napkins decorations which was a bit of family fun! The food was great and being Easter weekend although very busy we didn’t feel rushed. The hotel was easy to find and situated in beautiful countryside. We would all love to return.

Unfortunately not half as good as for a meal as out last visit, some slightly not hot food, and just no way as good as last year, sorry to say. Also chairs had food on them that we had to clean off so prep and hygiene should be better. Such a shame as we wanted to make it a go to place but maybe it not worth it, sorry

Having stayed at the Hare and Hounds many times over the years, there is nothing quite like a visit over a festive period. The place was buzzing, lots of people enjoying their Christmas outing. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere then this is not the time for you...........the staff were working flat out to see that everyone was catered for, not in any way an easy task with such a rambling building. There seemed to be people in every inch of the hotel. My stay was as always most pleasant, all be it a short one this time.

Great hotel with lovely grounds, nice rooms. The breakfast and evening meals were excellent, with very helpful and pleasant staff. Will definitely be returning. A good location for exploring the Cotswolds and a visit to the arboretum. Lots of things to do within the local area.

The afternoon tea was exceptional, such beautiful food, fabulous atmosphere, very clean and tidy. The staff were so kind, very helpful and would go out their way for us. If you fancy an afternoon tea we highly recommend and we will definitely be returning. Thank you all at Hare and Hounds for a truly wonderful welcome and amazing food.

Great two night stay on dinner b&b basis. Staff were amazing, food was fantastic and room was great. Two minutes away from the arboretum with some great walks. Already planning our next visit and considering a stay at Christmas. Would highly recommend.

Lovely property, but a few things need attention before I’d recommend it. The rooms, though well-appointed, had a few rough spots — the windows wouldn’t quite close fully, which made the party in the hotel event hall very loud. The WiFi didn’t really work in the room, and the TV kept switching over to the hotel menu after about 30sec on a channel.
We were staying in the family room, which is right next to the event hall, and the music kept the kids up until midnight.
It’s a shame as the hotel is beautiful, the food was lovely, and the staff were all welcoming and helpful.
