Overall, it's good. There are too few breakfast options. You have to bring your own swimming trunks to use the sauna, which is a bit troublesome.

We held our wedding in the Castlecourt hotel in May 2024. Along with many of our guests we stayed 2 nights in the hotel. The most exceptional and helpful staff along with being a beautiful hotel, could only rate 10/10! Would highly recommend!

I was with a senior citizens trip. All the group were very happy with the 5 nights stay. Meals were excellent, great dinner menu and beautifully presented. All the staff are well trained and very pleasant and helpful. Entertainment at night good fun and varied. Terrific cooking demo with Xaviar. Easy access to town centre and great shops.

There is a breakfast buffet for things such as fruit, serial, croissants, juice. But you order your main breakfast from a menu and this is served to you.
The full irish breakfast was overcooked. It would be way better if they had a self service buffet, the best berakfast selections i have ever experienced are all in Scandinavian countries. Managemnet should have a look at this, much healthier and tastier, and less staff required. (I travel for a living, stayed in 30 hotels around scandanavia and Europe last year, so please take thus as a constructive observation).

A wonderful place to stay when in Westport, from friendly staff, centrally located, lovely clean rooms, comfortable beds, good food. Special mention to Alan on reservations who checked us in & out - friendly helpful guy - well done, great to have a staff so eager & helpful.

The positives: central location and free underground parking The negatives: the hotel feels dated and “crusty”. Rooms are inconsistent. While clean at surface level, they feel a bit grimy (carpets, chipped paint, etc.). We rented two rooms and they were inconsistent. The cheaper room had AC but the more expensive room didn’t, making it quite uncomfortable. Breakfast was mediocre at best. It’s hard to fall asleep due to noise outside. So expensive considering the quality.

Hotel rooms very good standard cleaned and fresh towels everyday food was exceptional but the main thing was the staff unfortunately my friend fell in the street and had to go to hospital Rhona our Manager and John Cleshan Plaza Manager went beyond help could not thank them enough for all the support they gave us.Would not hesitate to recommend or go back ourselves

Had the best time Hotel was amazing lovely staff couldn't do enough Gala nights 4 course meal was the best never tasted food like it it felt like I was at a Wedding had a Pedicure with Rachel she went above and beyond would definitely go back soon
